If Henman defeats Coria...McEnroe will stand on his head...

...for the entire first set of the first match at Wimbledon.

Not that it will happen of course. But still funny. ;)

:haha: Not quite as good as Pat Cash's vow to wear a dress if Henman wins Wimbledon! Both might happen....I would certainly like both to happen cos that would be amusing!

Coria I think will beat Henman though, Mcenroe isnt that stupid, neither is Pat Cash.

Pat Cash is incredibly stupid - He shoots his mouth off without thinking about the consequences, lets vendettas against people get in the way of his work in commentating e.g. Rusedski, Philippoussis, and is never complimentary about anyone. If that isn't stupid i don't know what is - the man just doesn't think.

As for the Wimbledon thing, he knew that Tim was a threat given his excellent record and only needed a little luck (which he never got) to get him to the title. He was just being horrible with what he was saying. I shouldn't say this but a lot of Aussies hate to see us do well...and he just likes to put us down for everything. The man is a f****** moron. :)

Like I said, Pat Cash isnt that stupid, he wouldnt say that if he knew the consequences of wearing a dress lol

Henman might win it, but he obviously believes he wont.

I'm not so bothered about his dress-thing (cos i know he will have to wear one) - it's just his general personality - or lack of it.

His quote I'm 50% sure I slept with Rebecca loos was funny though :haha:

That quote left me at a very confused stage... somewhere between laughter and tears. I really wasn't sure which emotion to express, it was truly *that* pathetic.

Even more funny considering the woman said that she had never heard of a Pat Cash! :haha: :haha:

So fill us in, those who are not in the know, about Pat Cash's vendettas with (eg Rusedski and Philippoussis). Also what is this about what he said regarding some Rebecca person or another...? I can rarely catch a decent match on tv anymore much less the side gossip.

Cash criticised Philippoussis of spending too much time with Delta G rather than preparing for his Davis Cup duties, which resulted in his poor performances in the singles and the subsequent exit of Australia from the Davis Cup. While Cash may have been right in thinking that Philippoussis's priorities were all wrong, he had absolutely no right to involve himself in Philippoussis's private affairs.

It is a known fact that Cash is bitter about Rusedski firing him as coach and not paying him off but he had no right to say, when the news of Greg failing a drug's test broke, that he would receive little sympathy and support from other players because he was so disliked that he dined alone most evenings (well...not alone, but with his entourage...not mingling with other players). Talk about kicking someone when he is down.

Cash claimed that he slept with that Rebecca woman but it turned out that she had never heard of a Pat Cash before...he'd do anything for publicity because not many people take much interest in what he gets up to because he is moron.

That answer your question? Everyone - feel free to add details and correct me, as i'm sure you will....in droves! :)

Partially, it still doesn't answer who Rebecca is but I
am not dying of curiosity.

Pat of course has every right to say what he wishes.
Appropriateness may be another matter entirely. It
appears there is probably two sides to the situation
with Pilippoussis. If he was talking about Greg
dining alone maybe he was just making an observation
rather than overtly kicking him when he was down.

It is very easy to take sides without knowing the
whole story. To me it sounds like maybe you're being a
little quick to judge.

Rebecca Loos, the person who allegedly had an affair with David Beckham.

She was also rumoured to have slept with a couple of high profile tennis players/ex-players. Lucy Rusedski apparently warned Posh about her when she(Loos) was given the job of Beckham's PA. Anyway, Cash came out and said he might be one of the players but he couldn't remember.

he tells alot of interesting details about philippoussis, rusedski and lendl (who he hated more than even scud or greg)

but yes he is very outspoken, i remember a match at wimbledon with henman missing an easy volley and cash called him an idiot on live air pff
