Nalbandian got 255 points.

If he got next two title.

100 + 60 = 160

255 + 160 = 415

Game is not over yet. Master cup is still possible for Nalbandian

From No 8 to No 15. those guys not play well during last few weeks. Anything could happen

07 (07) Gonzalez 368 (0)
08 (08) Haas 329 (8)

10 (10) Blake 327 (20)

11 (11) Gasquet 321 (10)

And also.

09 (09) Robredo 328 (18)
10 (10) Blake 327 (20)

This two has to make it Semi Final in their next Tournament, other wise they got no more points.

08 (08) Haas 329 (8)
11 (11) Gasquet 321 (10)
12 (12) Berdych 318 (8)

This three got to make it to Q Fianl in their next Tournament, that could make few more points

Blake's had a blah year. Nalbandian can beat him in the QF in Basel. Robredo is Nalbandian's main competition. I think he could very well make the Final in Lyon. Hopefully not, for Nalbandian's sake ;)

would be a breakthrough year if he wins 2 masters shields

That's why I think he could make it to Master cup.

Anything is possible on Nalbandian

Don't be silly, and go take an English lesson.

A Nalbandian VS. Murray Paris Masters final would be nice after both Murray and Nalbandian have won St.Petersberg and Basel respectively.

I suppose if they both won their optional this week and made the Paris final it would be Murray who would qualify 8th simply from making that final.

When is Paris Masters?

If Nalbandian keeps serving clutch, there's no limit to what he can accomplish.

In theory he has a chance but I'm not getting my hopes up.You never know with this guy.

One thing to learn, don't blow a rare Nalbandian BIG win out of proportion. He might just flame out the rest of the year.

With Robredo out in the 1st round of Lyon, Nalbandian's chances have just increased. Also, Haas just WD from his, tournament, so David's chances are getting better and better. Hopefully he can make the most of this, since it doesn't seem like Blake has momentum.

Stop being unrealistic people. Nalbi has to WIN Paris in order to have a SMALL chance of qualifying. Not gonna happen.

Amen to that. I love that he's won Madrid but come on...He's not going to Shanghai unless he wins everything from now on and all the other contenders lose at early stages. Yeah, that could happen but I'm thinking it won't.

yes, 3 titles in a row, that's exactly what one expects from Bandy

 yeah especially that he's never won more than 2 titles in one season
I also think it's way too optimistic to think he'll qualify for the masters cup...but best of luck anyway :)

How many times did he win consecutive matches this season? His best performance outside of last week was a QF appearance. Does he really deserve to qualify on the basis of one strong week?

his best performances were the fourth round in both Australian open and Roland Garros

His 4th round match at the French Open against Davydenko was pretty close.

For the first 2 sets it was basically Davydenko in control but then Nalbandian won the 3rd set and almost won the 4th.

No he wouldn't deserve it,but he would be hell of a fun to watch him kick some ass.
In theory he can,and considering his talent and form right now he could but than again he Nalby so he won't.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that he's not worthy of being there. In fact, it would add some mystery to the tournament and I could see a few upsets ensuing, but I don't think he's earnt it this season. Next year could be a different story.

It will be good to have David in the Masters Cup field.... to challenge the current top 3 again!!!

But...... I can't see this to be happened!!! His year was just so below average apart from his awesome run last week at the Madrid Masters!!!
