won an important tournament (Slam/Masters) not only without losing a set but without ever being broken in serve? Federer so far hasn't been broken once.

If Nalbandian is playing the way he is, Federer will more than likely be broken but if he isn't, this would be quite an achievement I think

I think Tim Henman in Paris (2004) had that, not 100% sure though

I'm pretty sure andy won Lyon in 2005 without dropping serve - but he did lose one TB set

Henman won Paris in 2003. And Henman lost a set to Grosjean 6-3 second round.

Fed will probably lose serve at least once against Nalbandian tomorrow.

Define "important". :)

TMS, TMC, and slams?

Ivan won Vienna without dropping serve last year. Off the top of my head, nobody has won a TMS event the past 5 years at least without dropping serve and I don't think it's ever happened but would have to check. Djoko came close at Miami dropping serve only once. Fed only dropped serve once at Madrid last year.

Well the thread starter clearly stated "Slam/Masters"

Didn't Nadal win Monte Carlo or Rome this year in straight sets w/o being broken once?

No I'm pretty sure he was broken one or two times in MC as for Rome he did lose a set against Davydenko

Nobody has ever won a TMS event without dropping serve.

Boris Becker-Stockholm 1990.....might have as the ATP doesn't have the serve stats available.

Stefan Edberg-Paris Indoor 1990.....might have as the ATP doesn't have the serve stats available.
