I know this is the mens forum but I have to make an exception here, Serena williams is not only my most hated tennis player, she is also my most hated person in all of sport, you can even include all those stupid sports like darts, pool, bowling, poker (that even a sport?) and even the rock, papers sicsors championships they show on espn.

she is by far my most hated human being in sports, in all history, even hate her more than Bobby Chez (ex heavyweigh boxer and was showtime's boxing comentator for a while)

and I get ridiculous pleasure by watching her lose, watching serena lose is as good as sex. (bad sex)

as far as the mens side, probably keifer, I just think he is a dick, in general I don't dislike anyone, I am a big Federer fan but I also like Nadal and Djokovic plenty, I only want those guys to lose when they are playing Roger, other than that I am happy for their success, with Serena tho, I wish she loses every match she ever playes from here on then marries kevin federline and destroys her carrer and gets on welfare

Nadal

1) hate his playing style - very one-dimensional game, just moonballing, grinding and huge topspin; doesn't have an ability to slice and volley
2) don't like his trademark excuses after losing matches
3) don't like his "vamos" and celebrations on opponents' UE, but have to admit that he has become more polite in that sense
4) ass picking and taking lots of time before serve; it isn't so crazy as what Djokovic is doing before serve, but still very annoying

4 main reasons, maybe smth else, but doesn't come on mind at the moment.

Hmm. I think it's tough to explain. It's a matter of body language between the change-overs and between the points, a matter of positive and negative emotions during a match.

Burrow
10-18-2007, 12:02 AM

Certainly I like more Nadal's body language than Davydenko's. I prefer energetic players. Of course an attitude on the court isn't a basic reason of my likes and dislikes... Karlovic for example is extremely boring on the court, maybe even more than Davydenko, but I like him because of his game style.

1. Hewitt
2. Roddick
3. Kiefer

Hewitt is my least favorite because of the racist comments against Blake during one match and he seems like an all around dickhead to me and Kiefer is up there for complete lack of maturity and respect for everyone around him. Roddick is a little more humbled these days largely due to the fact that a lot of player can kick his ass on the court but when he rose onto the scene and winning the US open and was no. 1, he was one arrogant prick!

I only hate player when they are assholes on the court, I never hate a player because of his playing style, if I don't like the way he plays than I'm just indifferent toward that player. Hate is a strong emotion so I reserve that for players that deserve it.

It's difficult to dislike Roger most of the time cause he lets his tennis do the talking for him. Sometimes he does make outrageous comments and at times he's arrogant. No he's not, he's acting like No.3 in the world. His fans and his parents may be acting like that, but not him. He may say "I'll beat Federer" or whatever, but is that a bad thing? What's the point playing the match if you don't believe you can beat the guy. I really CAN'T STAND when players say things like "oh, I'll just go out there and enjoy it...Federer is in different league, so why bother trying?". No, you need to stand up to him, you have to go with that "I'll beat you, cause I believe in my game" attitude. Rafa and Novak (most of the time) have that quality. He may not win the match, but he always gives his best and he ALWAYS believes he will win. Quality of a champion if you ask me.

I don't know what outrageous comments you are refering to

Roger is very outspoken - whether this is a good attitude or not is personal taste-, but you just have to listen to the comments from the other players on the tour about him. I have never heard any comment from any of his opponent calling him arrogant.

Roger is not faultless, like no one of us, but he has the guts to commit when he was being wrong (for example regarding Djokovics development).

I don't have the feeling that he is a bad loser, but of course everyone may see this different.

Don't get me wrong Novak IS arrogant, so is Federer (even though he doesn't show it most of the time - different personality)...that's they're where they are today. I like arrogance as much as the next guy, but EVERY TOP player is arrogant (some hide it better than others). Why Novak?

1. Because he is from Serbia...not ideal country to be from and to be liked
2. Because Murray and Gasquet were seen as the leaders of new pack, and half of the "newcomers" talk was about that two...so who ever spent year or two salivating about how Andy or Richard will be new number one-two...are eating crows for the moment.
3. Because he became a real threat to "world order"...he is not anymore just a funny kid, he started winning, and his success became apparent.
4. If u have as a fact that main mental cases here are against him...(Glenda, Escude) and one on his side (ezekiel)...it's a given that every post about him...will turn in some garbage that nobody want to take part in.

So, to conclude...why should he be loved (in here)? He is not wanted and not expected threat to established order, he is cocky, he is bending the rules, he will do everything to win...

Hands down: Novak Djokovic a.k.a. Darth Cheater. Let me count the ways:rolleyes:

1. Incessant ball bouncing when in trouble to distract the opponent, upset opponent's rhythm, and catch some breath.

2. Clear abuse of the injury timeout rules. But what can you expect from an in the closet member of the WTA tour? He lives by the mantra: when in trouble in a match, take an injury timeout.

3. Most annoyingly arrogant and obnoxious entourage/family box. From almost the first point to the last, they do not stay in their seats.

4. Arrogant beyond belief. Take his comments about his match against Rafa last year from RG.

5. Displaying hand sign from ethnic cleansing days of Serbia when victory is achieved, and

6. Worst hairstyle in the history of the tour (and that says a lot when you are member of the WTA tour). The great Gazoo from the Flinstones would be proud.

Case closed.

There is missing the option: "Other players please name".

For me (as with Serbian roots) it is Pašanski by faaaaar, because he is a racist. I don't know if I would be able to keep my mouth shut, if I met him at a tournament. Very likely I would insult him with my best Serbian insults I know, that he wouldn't know "where his ass and where his head is" like we say in Serbia. :retard:

Most Roddick fans hate Murray, for having the cheek to kick his ass four times out of six. Very bitter indeed

:)

I know reason why some of ill forum posters so much hates Novak...

67+3(DC)=70 wins in this season, too many bad days this year;)

Personally, I enjoy in your suffer;)

True, the guy's too strong, his complete ownage of the tour is annoying...

I agree. I do think Andy seems like someone people dislike but I guess you have to be a factor to be thought of.

I don't have a problem with some players that beat my fav like Nadal. It has to be other reasons besides the winning part like Kiefer or Coria. Not nice guys.

I think it's rather childish to 'dislike' a player for the sole and simple reason that he beats your favourites...

I currently dislike Blake, for reasons that many will know, e.g. J-Block, o.k. with losing to Federer, etc.

Of course he's a good player, but I don't those particular things about him. If that were to change, I would like him again.

Right now I dislike Djokovic the most for a wide variety of reasons from his looks to all the ball bouncing to the unattractive way he plays, but the biggest reason would be that he often puts on a drama expressing his annoyance when something doesn't go as smoothly as he would like when he's leading. Like today when he was already up a break in the third set against Ferrero and was trying for a second break that wasn't going as he hoped, and he started expressing his frustration as if how dare there be any kind of even temporary obstacle to his lofty plans for how quickly he's decided he's supposed to win.

If these forums are a fair sample of tennis fans around the world, what this poll CLEARLY shows is that Djokovic, the "hot young gun of the ATP tour", and his cheating brand of tennis are quickly falling out of favor among the masses. Thank God people are coming to their senses about this guy.

If hewitt were there, i would make fake accounts to personaly vote for him

But seeing how he is not there i would have to go for Roger, im sick of him, i dont absoloutly 'hate him'. I havnt even met the guy . But his game is boring, and watching him wants me to change the channel to anything else, you can always predict he is going to win

Nadal. For his delaying tactics, his vamos and for just generally giving me the shits.

Also there really isn't anyone else on the list that I dislike

Roddick. Mainly because he seems too cocky on the court for my taste. He's very skilled at press conferences not to be too much of a jerk, actually can be pretty funny, but somehow his on court behavior overwhelms that in my opinion. Also everything has come so easily for him. He came out of nowhere and immediately started dominating while he was just a teenager.

Ah yes, Djokovic, at the beginning of the second set against Ancic...fake injury to get some breath after a long week of tennis. An "injury" to the ankle, some "grimacing"...and then less than three minutes later, the male version of Serena Williams at Wimbledon is running around the court like a gazelle.

This is why he is more and more disliked. And it even appears to me that the Spanish fans don't care for him either. Very little applause...and more support for all his opponents. I would love to see a return to form Coria give him a taste of his own medicine.

Wow...Djokovic did that. I guess he did exactly like Federer said.

Davydenko. Personality wise anyway, massive respect for his game (when it's working). Can't understand why Rafa or Tomas are included in that pole, but that's jsut me...

Hate is just another form of love. The haters merely validate Djokovic's growing popularity.

No, I don't "love" Djokovic. I like his game but I am more amused by his joker personality and the reaction he elicits from MTFers by merely existing. :)
