Grass season 2004

Does anyone know if he will play some tournaments on grass?

I"d like to know also... last year he was invited to Stoke Poges in UK but couldn't play cos of the birth of Aroa.

and against Henman at Wimbledon
maybe he could do something surprising, because last 2 years, he beat Sampras, Philippoussis and Arazi on grass, last two in the same tournament
so, he's not that bad as everyone thinks probably..;)

Alex is not in the lists for Halle or Queens yet
but maybe he'll try to qualify, or play an exibition tournament.
Does anyone know a site of an exhibtion next week?

I think that Stoke Poges is Boodle and Dunthorpe or sth like that... try and do a search... I'll see if I can find it! I'd love to see ALex play at WImby -- after he beat Pete in DC at Houston a couple of yrs ago, I thought it w be fab!

I think he probably w have to play Qualies but not sure about that... he doesn't need a WC. Or he may even be able to enter the main draw... wish I knew... have to wait until the draw.

Alex is a direct entry for Wimbledon! :)

He plays an exhibition this week in Barcelona together with Albert Costa, Galo Blanco and Joan Balcells. It's on the grass court the spanish federation built last year for the preparation for the Davis Cup final.
Today Alex plays Balcells, tomorrow Galo and then Albert.

I saw an article on this Vall Parc [Barcelona] "Grass Challenge" exo in El Mundo Deportivo but can't find a site. It's from today until Fri and serves as a grass warmup for Wimby!

Thu: Corretja-Blanco (13.30 h.) y Costa-Balcells (17.30 h.).

Fri: Blanco-Balcells (11.00 h.) y Corretja-Costa (no antes de las 13.00 horas).
