Did Massu get a break in the whole match? scarecrows 10-09-2007, 08:10 PM The Dr gets another win and they are all good wins for him. Did Massu get a break in the whole match? no breaks for Massu, he had 3 chances to break Ivo was 1/11 in BP conversion, he could and should have closed this match earlier GlennMirnyi 10-09-2007, 08:12 PM Any match with Massu that jerk takes at least 2 hours and a half. stebs 10-09-2007, 08:15 PM no breaks for Massu, he had 3 chances to break Ivo was 1/11 in BP conversion, he could and should have closed this match earlier Karlovic is a good enough player off the ground now that he should be able to get a break in two sets of tennis with Massu but it can be seen as a good sign that he got the job done in a tight match when he presumably didn't play his best. It wasn't that long ago that he never won matches without this sort of scoreline. Blue Heart24 10-09-2007, 08:17 PM Ivo :yeah: stebs 10-09-2007, 08:18 PM Any match with Massu that jerk takes at least 2 hours and a half. He took 1 hour 49 to lose 3 and 2 to Nadal last year and over five hours to lose to Sela in four in DC recently. scarecrows 10-09-2007, 08:21 PM on serving games from massu there were 50-60 seconds between points and I doubt that there were many baseline rallies there Ivo#1Fan 10-09-2007, 08:25 PM There seemed to be about a 10 minute break at 5-5 in the 1st set. Anyone know what that was about? scarecrows 10-09-2007, 08:26 PM There seemed to be about a 10 minute break at 5-5 in the 1st set. Anyone know what that was about? i didnt watch it, but i heard it was an injury time-out for Ivo (not sure though) ASP0315 10-09-2007, 08:30 PM Karlovic is a good enough player off the ground now that he should be able to get a break in two sets of tennis with Massu but it can be seen as a good sign that he got the job done in a tight match when he presumably didn't play his best. It wasn't that long ago that he never won matches without this sort of scoreline. agreed with that. Labamba 10-09-2007, 08:42 PM 34 aces for Ivo, no double faults Ivo#1Fan 10-09-2007, 08:45 PM Karlovic is a good enough player off the ground now that he should be able to get a break in two sets of tennis with Massu but it can be seen as a good sign that he got the job done in a tight match when he presumably didn't play his best. It wasn't that long ago that he never won matches without this sort of scoreline. I think Ivo is better at breaking serve on slower surfaces actually. You wouldn't think it would help him in rallies, but maybe it's because of the service return itself. bad gambler 10-09-2007, 09:06 PM Massu is taking aim at Spadea's record Voo de Mar 10-09-2007, 09:18 PM Great revenge to Ivo for a loss to Massu in Rome qualies this year 7-6(2) 6-7(5) 6-7(0) :yeah: I was following the scoreboard in the 1st set. Ivo led 3:0 with two mini-breaks, then Massu had set point at 6:5*. stebs 10-09-2007, 09:23 PM For Massu nine losses in a row and it probably doesn't help that he has been close a bunch of times: 3-6 in the third to Ferrer 4-6 in the third to Darcis Five hour loss to Sela 6-7 in the third to Lapentti 4-6 in the third to Karlovic oh la la. 10-09-2007, 09:34 PM :bigcry: Nico :awww: oh la la. 10-09-2007, 09:35 PM 34 aces for Ivo, no double faults oh aces, aces and million of aces :o Henry Chinaski 10-09-2007, 09:38 PM There seemed to be about a 10 minute break at 5-5 in the 1st set. Anyone know what that was about? I'm guessing Ivo took an injury time-out as Massu was briefly a heavy favourite on betfair. Ivo hit 4 aces in a row in I think, his 2nd service game of the 2nd set fact fans. musefanatic 10-09-2007, 09:39 PM Woo well done Ivo :) Great win :) +alonso 10-09-2007, 09:59 PM  depressing!
