Bjorkman shouldn't retire. He's playing even better singles than doubles this year.

Blake improves his record in Stockholm to 11-0. This is the third time when he had lost the first set in a tie-break and won a match in Stockholm. Very similar situation like today was two years ago when C.Rochus was leading against Blake 7-6 4:2... later 5:4 (30-15). Today Bjorkman also was leading 5:4 in the 2nd set but I don't know the process of this game. For sure he hadn't match point.

Yeah, like two years ago in Stockholm, Blake was two points away from defeat at 6-7 4:5.
On the official Stockholm website is written:
"Jonas Björkman was only two points away from a win against the first seeded American, James Blake, in the first round of the If Stockholm Open.
Björkman was a bit disappointed after the game, being so close to beat a top player in front of his home crowd.
- I thought I played good tennis today. Of course, it is disappointing when you are only centimeters from a match point, but I am glad to see that I still can push players at this level."
