Go Nalbadian!!

Show to Kuerten that he is not the king of clay when he plays you!

I was speculating in another forum that this match will be similar to the matches guga used to play on clay against kafelnikov (great matches BTW), I think Dave plays quite similar to Kafelnikov.

A ft Guga would dispatch of Nalbandian rather easily but Kuerten is in worse physical shape then Safin and unless he wins in straight sets, which is unlikely, David will reach his first RG semi

Is he in bad physical condition? Guga was saying today that he's feeling pretty good still.

Anyway, I think David will wear Guga down in 4 or 5 long sets.

Guga but he needs to start the match at a high tempo

I agree, he'll gave to dominate right from the start, like against Federer and Lopez:)! Winning one of the first 2 sets will be crucial for him:)!

GOOOOOOO GUGAAAAAAAAA:aparty: continue to play great:D!!!!!!!

Hard to predict but I am hoping for a Nal-b triumph!!
I agree with you guys about that Guga needs the 1st set in order to keep his hopes alives either way Nalby its going to tie Kuerten in his ropes.

Go David!!!

I hope this hobbled opponent wins.

It would be glorious to have a Guga victory. It's against the odds, but since being predicted to be upset in the first round, Guga has been going against the odds.

This Roland Garros has made me love Guga even more. I didn't think that was possible. :)

No kidding! I have always loved Guga but in his latest interviews he has been as effervescent as a soda pop and I realized how much I have missed him being a presence on the tour. His smile is so endearing! I heart Guga!

But this is hard...because Nalby is one of my favorite players as well (and I think he is unfairly portrayed as a grumpy gus in the press as I have heard of numerous accounts of how he is great with the fans.) Anways- 4 sets or less- Guga. 5 sets- Nalby.

No question for me. David in 4 (have to allow a set for nervousness).

This isn't an easy decision for me though. I really wish that my heart could be neutral in this between two favorites but my heart had made it's decision when I saw this as a possibility.

One thing that i absolutely don't want. Straight sets.
