Berdych is more likely to play than Ljubicic who has been playing very poorly compared to last year.

I can't wait for Kooyong, I'll be there for the whole thing. I think Gonzo will play again. He was such a hit with the fans last year, they'd have to get him back again. I don't think we'll get Rafa here like usual. I think we'd be looking to have players who don't play usually in that week. Mabye Djokovic might play since he did an exhibition match there last year, and now his ranking has skyrocketed they'd want him back again. I'm worried about what the field will look like in 2009, I'm hoping the top players won't go to Brisbane instead

I think Djoke will play Sydney as well as Moya as he tends to do well there.

Maybe Richie? Murray? Berdych as Safinator has been saying??

Yeah it's 3 matches guaranteed, and 4 if you reach the final. And I don't know if this makes a difference, but theres a nice atmosphere in the arena, and I think the players enjoy that too. It's not too packed, so even Federer would enjoy the appeal of there not being too many people.

Slim. That would be too intelligent to come straight from Mallorca down to Austrralia, get used to the courts for a few weeks and then play the AO. Im sure that idiot is gonna play Chennai or something, then fly to sydney and play that, and get burnt out in the first month :rolleyes:

Looks fine to me. I wish Roddick wasn't playing, his game is just TOO BIG in Kooyong. Not even Federer can touch him on these courts.

The Kooyong line-up is invitational and once the line-up has been confirmed, it doesn't change unless if the player decides to pull out themselves.

Yeah why not, that would be much better. Remove Ljubicic and replace him with Ferrero, and then it would be excellent, not that it won't be good anyway.
