I'm torn between poor JC and Safin. The fact that JC missed the whole clay eason is awful. Safin too can't play well...
Andre evokes sympaphy, but... His career has to end sometime.
I'll vote for JC.

Haas. I don't know why, but I even pulled for him to beat Janqui in the RG, even though before the tournament started, I was actually hoping to see him repeat.

There's this guy I know of... his name is Magnus Norman.
Maybe you guys have heard of him?

I have some sympathy for Haas, but none whatsoever for Hewitt, Agassi or Federer. I cannot believe people are voting for these players. Poor diddums (Hewitt) can't get back to number one? I seriously doubt it. And I don't think a guy who is just going through a rough patch deserves any sympathy. He's capable of getting back to the top, though I never want to see that day. :wavey:

Freakin newsreaders praising Lleyton's run at Roland Garros. Such a tough draw he has had  I wish we had tennis experts on the nightly news. Gosh, don't I sound vindictive.

I have sympathy for absolutely none of them equally.

I have sympathy for Tim Henman - even though he has made the quarters in the French, he is still being criticised left, right and centre. What else can the poor man do for a little respect? :)

If he beats Chela tomorrow, that will help solidify some respect, but I know a lot of players who would have killed for a draw like that.

Juan Carlos Ferrero. Nothing can be worse than coming into a GS as a defending Champ and with injuries. Hope these bad news of injuries does'nt happen again.

Poor JC who has been plagued by illness and injuries throughout the
whole claycourt season. Hope he is injury free and back to good
form for the rest of the season!

I voted for Ferrero. Coz he had an amazing 2003.... and played some good tennis at the beginning of 2004.... And then he was down with chicken pox and suffered a wrist and rib injury just before competing at RG.. And failed to defend his RG, Monte Carlo and Valencia title ........His clay season was rather disappointing this year...
