i agree with you, Richard may withdraw if he got the AIG Champion, if he feels tired.
But if he really wants to play in shanghai, i can see he will smashes Nalbandian.haha

I hope, he won't play Vienna, if he is clever guy.

I know my opinion won't be popular but if i were Richard,i would try play Vienna, whatever the result tomorrow.
He has some crucial points to defend in Vienna and he probably won't play before Wednesday so he'll have the time to rest.
Yeah it sounds crazy after the schedule he had recently and it might affect his chances for the TMS at Madrid but on the other hand,it's not like he spent a lot of time on the court(still hasn't lose a set!)

What a fuckin first round match.
I hope Gasquet withdraws (mostly because of Nalby :tape: ). If they play, Gasquet will probably win...

Vienna isn't even on his list of countable tournaments. He has nothing to defend.

If Gasquet is tired after Tokyo he should withdraw to save energy for Madrid but then again he has won all of his matches over the last 2 weeks in straight sets so maybe he won't be so tired?

And does he get a first round bye in Vienna? If he does then he may play.

I don't think he is not tired. His baseline game wasn't sharp today and I think it was because he is tired.

No don't say he needs to change his fh. Even his backhand sucked today. So I think he might be tired, atleast mentally, although I think he is physically not in any shape to play another consecutive week. He should just go home and come back to Madrid fresher.

Not worth playing Vienna at the expense of Madrid...
