It was his last US open but not last tournament. I believe his PR is only good for Tokyo so that might be his last tournament.

I think he still has 3 or 4 PR ranking tourneys left

:singer: Fee, your presence is wanted in GM. ;)

Thanks Miss Kitty.

As clearly stated in his post match press conference at the USO, he is using his PR for three more tournaments (Tokyo, Moscow and St Petersburg) because he still had it available, so what the heck.

By the way, this thread was unnecessary. A quick glance at Justin's thread in the USA player forum or the Tokyo entry list thread would have answered this question without creating GM clutter. :)

Edit: He just defeated Lukasz Kubot 6-4, 7-5. It's the first main draw singles match that he's won since his back surgery.

Kubot :smash: What a shame lost to semi-retired Gimelstob.

I just hope he wins a title or something to successfully close of his career.

Ew. you're a dick.
Yea, it's much easier to locate that moron's thread in the USA forum than to take 2 seconds and ask it here.
Take the stick out of yer arse and skip over the threads YOU deem "unnecessary".
I happened to be wondering the same thing and was glad the question was here.

:haha:

If you think he's such a moron, then why do you even care if his name's in the draw? Lose money on the match?

Iíve always liked Justin. Heís an entertaining guy, both with his tennis and his personality, and he gets the most out of his (self-admitted) limited talent. Heís especially fun at Wimbledon where he dives around the court like a deranged gymnast.

BTW, I agree with the sentiment that if you don't think a thread is worth discussing, stay the fuck out of it. (No offense.)

You and the other guy completely misunderstood my comment. I was just trying to inform anyone who might have ventured into this thread that there is all kinds of information to be found on this forum in other places besides GM. I just love how some of the men around here seem to get so sensitive about that. :)

At least own up to your opinion, or is that a female thing? (See, I can be sexist too.) And the smileys don't cut it.

It wasn't a cheap, gratuitous shot at the OP. It was a 'by the way' comment. There are actually people on this forum who don't venture into the player forums or the tournament threads, which is a shame because there is a lot of information there. I didn't say, 'hey you dick, stop wasting space in GM with your shit threads' or use the word 'fuck' as others in this thread have done. I felt my tone was pleasant, but if you need me to use more flowery words in the future, I will do so. :)

I didn't know Justin Gimelblog had a forum! Every player doesn't have a forum, isn't it?

Deboogle!.

He has a thread in the Team USA player forum. Just about every player with two fans has at least a thread somewhere at MTF. (Thank you for proving my point).
