We needed another thread right.

Yes, it's only fair that we run this topic into the ground.

:haha: I love this new attitude towards Safin. Two days ago everyone loved him because of pants episode and now he is the most hated player, perhaps second to Cry Baby! :haha:

OK he cheated but it won't get him very far. He is a better player than Nalbandian, certainly on clay, but tomorrow the 4th round match is all about fitness, which is not on Safin's side. Nalbandian will probably comfortably account for him.

Care to create a vote to check who is the most liked right now? I bet he'll still win.

Ok - I'll do a compromise. Let's do a poll of the most hated and the most loved...and see who wins. For fairness, i'll put Coria into the most-loved poll too and we'll see whether he gets a few votes...someone might actually love him! :tape:

Do the normal options. I'll vote for Coria, as Marat doesn't need me.

Of course he will. Marat could act like Coria on a consistent basis and people would think it was "charming", because we know, attractive people can not ever be wrong or have negative attributes.

Well, I found the shorts incident annoying and petulant too, so at least I've been consistent on that basis. I was also probably the only person on MTF who found Marat's classic, typically genial interview after the Mantilla match to be one long whine against the world rather than a masterful exhibition of wit, but there you go.

you're often in a league of your own so that's ok ;)

I found his interview pretty whiney too. It made a JCF interview look happy go lucky in comparison. That said, I didn't say anything about it because there aren't 600 threads/posts complaining when other players whine in their interviews ;)

It was unfortunate that Safin took the injury timeout when he did. But he had blisters all over his hands. And a blister on his left hand burst causing severe pain and the injury timeout. Safin even showed his opponent his blistered hands and that they needed to be treated.

 go create an umpteenth thread about Rodduck and you can have your fun as well :drive:

No, I'd rather rehash the ones already started. Plus, creating a new thread about a player who went out to Mutis in the 2nd is boring.
