Gasquet-Berdych semifinal could be a cracker ;)

Probably Ferrer, maybe Hewitt. Berdych's back is hurting and I'd be surprised if Gasquet can win more than one or two matches in his second consecutive week of tennis.

Who cares? The most important thing is that Roitman, Querrey, Dancevic and Russell are seeded

I think like you but don't believe in Hewitt. Ferrer for me.
Is there only 4 players in this tournament?! You have to write "others" in the poll Rgask !

I always have as you know. ;) But I am in win-win situation, if he loses early he might still come to Vienna and if he does well in Tokyo, even better!!

The important question is, with Rogi gone who will blog from Tōkyō to rave about the electronic toilet seats and take pictures with a plate of sushi like last year? :tears:

Richard will blog about what he will do with his Mumbai and Tokyo trophies if he wins. With extra detail. ;)

Hewit is in a bad form , Gasquet is tired, Berdych one match plays good , one bad...Ferrer if he plays good in first match, most of all haves a good chance....
I tkink Verdasco and Nieminen are favorits in this tournament IMHO

His blog should have smileys and he should end each sentence with a " ."

He can blog about his trophies :aplot: but I'm afraid of finding out if the eggs in his Lyon trophy hatched yet. :scared:

Maybe he is like Nalbandian. ''On Monday I ate. Then an hour later I got a snack. Two hours later it was lunchtime. At night I had dinner. Then of course dessert. Two hours later it was time for midnight snack...''

Fortunately the top players get first round byes so hopefully that will give Gasquet and Berdych time to recover so they can meet each other in the semis.

If Gasquet or Berdych win the tournament they'll be inside the Top 8 of the Race to Shanghai.

If he is like Nalbandian his blog will have ten sentences to it, plus an apologetic note from the webmaster saying that Richie is away savoring the two-for-one Teriyaki McBurger Special in the nearest Tōkyō McDonald's. :lick:

:haha:

I would go for the sushi. I want to have a Richard dragon roll wrapped up in seaweed with a little hot sauce

Lee and Gasquet as the other semi-finalists

here are my picks (http://www.protennisblog.com/2.html) for the whole tournament

Agree totally.

Most players struggle to win events in successive weeks.

some pretty good matches today, even though the seeds haven't started playing because they all got byes

in fact every single match on Monday featured at least one tiebreaker and half of 'em featured two

DrJules

I am picking Hewitt.

Gasquet - physically not sure can win 2 titles in 2 weeks.
Berdych - possibly injured.
Ferrer - think Hewitt has edge.
