WOW, what a great match Guga played today. It was really like in the old days. And afterwards the French television interviewed him and he had that great smile from one ear to another.
I like Roger a lot too but from the beginning of the match I really hoped Guga would win, and he did!

I think a lot of us did (wishing guga would win). Guga is special and attracts a lot of tennis. We hope he can come back to his old form once again.

Well, I think this tournament has showed me that among your favourites, there is always a superfavourite. And for me it is Guga. Because when he played Roger (and I love Roger), I wanted Guga to win. And I am sure that if he would have played Lleyton, I still would have been rooting for Guga.
And when Guga eventually lost against David, it really did hurt.
But I am happy to have somehow refound Guga, as it was a long time ago I had not see him play.
I praise myself a very lucky person because I was able to see Guga live in his second round match of the French Open in 2001.
It was an amazing day. I had a ticket for the Court Chatrier (bought two weeks before the draw came out so I did not know who I would see). Turned out that Kim, Justine, Ollie and Lleyton all played on Chatrier but Guga on Lenglen. Hewitt's match against Roddick ended when Andy gave up after a nasty fall. So I had some time left, and hung out a bit around Lenglen following the scores of the Guga match. All of a sudden this woman comes up to me and asks me if I want her ticket. She had to catch a train and gave me her ticket. So on that wonderful day, I also got to see Guga, who was struggling a bit against a Moroccan player I don't remember the name of. As soon as I took my seat on Lenglen, Guga started turning around the match.
And eventually won the whole thing.
Hope Guga will take some rest to let his hip heal so that the fans can still see some of his great tennis.
