The twins deliver yet again in DC for the US. I wonder if Patrick Mac will put Isner v Pim Pim tomorrow?

Expected, but still commendable for the bros. Swedes' only chance was to pull out that 1st set TB, then hope for a collapse by the Bryans. Not to be.

As long as Andy stays away from Arby's, he'll clinch in a laugher tomorrow. Unfortunately, the Yanks' reward might now be a final on slow red German clay rather than nice fast USA grass.

True! That 1st set was a nailbiter with both teams saving several set points. After that it seems the Swedes got deflated.

I was catching up on the Tojo Def. Blake thread earlier today and so many posters thought Bjorkman and Aspelin would have the upper hand. Yet, save for that 1st set, this looks like a routine win by the Bryans.

It will be very hard now to advance to the final

It's so funny how Americans are so convinced that Bryans are going to beat on their worst surface a multiple doubles GS champion and the US Open champion for sure... If Aspelin was able to beat them with Knowle, why can't him do it at home with Bjorkman?
It will be so funny when the Bryans are taking to school tomorrow... :haha:

Heh! Bjorkman hit one of the Bryans (I can never tell them apart) at 4 all, 15-30 with Sweden serving in the 1st set. No drama though, the Swedes went on to hold and the Americans didn't make a big deal out of it.

Good match, a lot of high quality exchanges between four of the best doubles players. But in the end it was the established partnership that had the advantage.

Exactly! The 1st set was very well played by both teams.
