Oy, Noam Noam, you could have won that one, you really could have - and I don't think Dudi can touch him, he hasn't got any serve - he is a better mover than Noam right now, but Noam gets the free points on his serve and Dudi doesn't.

And oy, that umpire "Sheket Bevakasha" (Quiet please in Hebrew) - he sounded like I teacher I had - reminding the teenage crowd of their elementry school days won't make them listen, ya know.

I'm going to the doubles tomorrow, my first live tennis match ever, hopefully it would be worth it!

Have a great time :yeah: It should be a great match if AndYoni play Massu/Gonzo!
 about the umpire. Credit to Gonzalez though although I would have been happier if Noam had pulled out that 3rd set. Might have given him that confidence. Oh well.

I think they said it's Gianluca. Anyway both umpires were pretty bad, but the second did it in falceto.

I agree... I thought it was going to be a rout, and everyone here would be glad with 1-1 at the day's start, but the opportunities for the shocking upsets were there, lots of them. It surely didn't look like no. 6 vs no. 187.
I hope I can make it to the doubles, if so it would be a first for me to :)

LOL, Gonzo's post match comments:

"At some points, I felt like I was playing Federer"

Um. I think I should feel insulted on Roger's behalf, Noam was not THAT good, in fact -he disappointed me.

It was Dudi who had some several sweet BHDTL which made me think or Roger, or Gasquet -but Noam was just not that good.

Glad that Gonzo Truba won. He will need to handle his emotions better against Dudi on Sunday.

Gonzalez making the TMC is definitely something utopic, but I guess Blake, Ljuba Truba and Haas do want that to happen.
