Seen every episode.

It was so intriguing the way Danny managed to survive all this onslaught.

He went to Turkey and seen Fener-Gala, Argentina he went to Independiente v Racing and the Racing fans got the game called off by rioting in the away stand.

But the most ridiculous thing he did was in Italy. He went to Rome derby, spent the first half in the Roma end (curva sud) before leaving and somehow managing to make it in to the Lazio end (curva nord) for the second half.

The man got shot at at one episode too. And threatened a few times.

He's lucky to be in one piece.

Great series though.

Funny how we invented football violence, now everyone follows.

Not that it is anything to be proud of(before anyone says).

They are, but they weren't hooligans like the English in the 70s who exported that shit across the continent.

Very good doco and I will watch them again. The Serb/Croat thing is crazy and I know that from personal experience.

my dad has been to pretty much every Red Star vs Partizan games in the 70's and 80's, he's got some stories  also most of the games between Partizan vs Dinamo and Hajduk.
most of the games between Red Star and Partizan had about 105,000 in the stands, but i think the stadiums have been scaled down since. they're also really close to each other. right around the corner.

In England, if you so much as throw a punch at a football match, you will get a prison sentence.

The **** story from the Partizan guys was fucking nasty man and yes the stadium sizes have been reduced. The Red Star Stadium they called it the Maracana used to be 110, 000 and the hatred between the Serbs and Croats was always under the surface, just exploded after the fall of Yugoslavia.
