Federer has never played in South America. So this is a pretty useless stat since South America only has MM events.

I assume you think the elite events are the Slams and the Masters Series? If so you know that there are none in SA. But I don't understand what this has to do with this thread? Unless I am misreading the title and it in fact says "Fernando GONZO ~the only active player to *win elite titles on 5 continents*??"

Very interest article. But it doesn't means anything. Canas beated Roger Fed twice this year, that would catch people's eye much more than those numbers. i hope to see him beat Roger again and again
