Actually, you are early. Someone made a boo boo and got the date wrong for Sue's birthday, so we are celebrating for a month until her real birthday.

Another thing I think Sue would do... have a 'girls night out' with her friends, drink exactly one drink, and be home in time to kiss the boys good night before they went to sleep (awwwww). She's a mommy!

Why am I the only one coming up with ways to celebrate cobaltfest?

OK, here goes... Have eldest son break another bone, "celebrate" by tearing hair out a bit, having a general rant about men in general (a well deserved rant, I may add ;) ) then leaving the testosterone fest to come here for a time out, before returning for multiple hugs.

Hey, I tried, I didn't say it would be a good way to celebrate cobaltfest

We are all far from perfect, but your heart was in the right place so it's a 'boo boo' not a big old 'screw up'. :)

Another cobaltfest celebration: Find a friend who is younger than you (even if its only a week younger), and remind them that some things just are the way they are, some people just are the way they are, you can't change it, and there is no use getting upset about it (then have a cosmopolitan). :)

One of the dumbest thread titles yet. A DAY is not enough to celebrate a birthDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If it isn't a day then it could not be a birthday, could it? It would be a birthweek or a birthmonth or something.

Just like the celebration of Christmas beginning 3 months before the actual day has cheapened the holiday, so you are going to cheapen Sue's birthday by stretching it out until it loses all significance. OK, the Muslims let Ramadan run for a month or so, well not exactly a real month, they use the moon or something, but they are always exceptions to reason anyway.

So what should we do in the month before Sue's birthDAY? Avoid eating and drinking during daylight for a month and then have a big blowout cutting the cake at sunrise on her real birthDAY? I don't think so and I doubt if Sue does either.

No, I am afraid Bagelmens doesn't do it, not after you have had a real NY chewy one. They have a branch in San Pedro, so Escazusie is not necesssary. When the urge gets too much they are an acceptable substitute, though. I am in upscale Santo Domingo.

Feeling old?

I only do merengue. But you will just have to imagine it. I assure you it will be cheaper AND better that way.

I think this thread might need to be closed now. The day has come and gone. And those of you who neglected to wish me a happy birthday on this most important day will be remembered for that :p;)

She's alive she's alive :o Sorry. Thanks Catherine that sentiment is very very nice  But I can assure you that changing the thread title would surely kill the thread completely:devil:

Actually it's ok not to change anything. I really feel that it would not get posted on much so just let it die a quick death. :p Thanks ;)

What made me think of you was the Imogen Heap cd. :p We both must be in an Immi place right now. haha

I'm doing alright, I don't know if you saw the pictures but I've gone platinum blond. :D I'm trying to find a new job and unsuccessfully trying to save money for after graduation. :p How are you? What's keeping you busy these days?

You are platinum blonde? Alright. Change is always good like that :yeah: And if you get tired of it or don't want it any more easy to go back;)
Life is good. I am still happy and young at heart even though the bod isn't as willing these days  No complaints. Weather is changing so no more walking outside. I have a treadmill but I am looking to join the YMCA which is about 5 minutes away from my house. We belong to a club now and although it has a wonderful pool you have to pay for everything else along with the annual fee. And no one uses it but me so since the fee is too much this is a change. And during the winter I tend to not want to venture out into the cold. So I am hoping that the Y which has aerobics etc and also close will get me out and about.

That's good that you're trying to stay active. :) I'm still going to kickboxing twice a week, and even though my quads are still burning right now, it's worth it in the long run. :)
