I'm talking about winning the AO, USO, FO, and Wimbledon.

I don't think he'll win all four in one year or over the course of his career.

He does. Grand slam? That's a tough one. Who was the last guy to win grand slam (all 4 in one year)?

Or even a career grand slam (there haven't been many men who have won that either...I think the last one was Agassi).

To win a Grand Slam, yes. He has the capability to win any of them. The Calendar Grand Slam, no. The Career Grand Slam, yes.

Will he win a slam, yes.

Calendar slam, no.

Career, highly doubt it.

If you saw his game of USOPEN FINAL. You got to know that he had huge chance to win it. But He got to have GS Final Experience, Now he got one Final. But not enough, which Roger has much much more than him. So, start learning the expeiences.

He absolute should win 5 or 6 more GS in his career

Novak Djokovic will have a career similar to that of Andre Agassi.

He has the potential to win a few majors.

He did have seven set points to take sets one and two at the final of the US Open.

Just couldnt put them away.

Imagine if he was leading 2 sets to love (by winning the set-points) against Federer, and the winner could have been completley different.

He definitely has the potential for USO and AO, perhaps even multiple titles. As for Wimby, I'm not that sure - still very possible, but not so strongly. As for FO, that would largely depend on Nadal's destiny.

Another words when Fed X get sick of winning Slams and Rafa sick of winning the French they may consider giving Novak one :p

Djokovic is still young because he made the final of the US open to lose in straight sets everybody is oging nuts. Let time take its course i mean look at murray. The fact is people are desperate too see Federer get knocked away form sucsess

No, that's not "in another words". Novak has the very clear potential to take USO and/or AO under Roger's nose. Wimby might be another song since R. is emotionally attached to that trophy and I expect him to defend it fiercely. As for FO - I expect to be burned at stake as a heretic, but claycourt Nadal is a MUCH BIGGER PROBLEM than hardcourt Federer.

Novak has no potentional. he is just on a run. Like bahgdatis, and gonzalez had at the aus opens.

Federer is the best playr in history

I agree with this.

You know that Greg Rusedski got to the final of a major in 1997 therefore making him a "contender". Todd Martin also got to Slam Finals. And Jim Courier (not a million miles away from Djokovic play wise, Nole, IMO, is better) won Slams. I could go on. Basically both your posts are BS.

Greg Rusedski and Todd Martin were very good players

He has the potential to win a grand slam. But you also got to have GS final experience to do that. In my opinion, he lost to Federer due to the lack of experience, not skill. Hope he can win at least one GS in 2008! :worship:

Oscar Hernandez has a better chance to win a slam than Djokovic.

Oscar Hernandez has everything a player could ever wish for.

He has the game to win a Grand Slam but it depends on other factors if he will actually do that one day. It depends on the competition, it depends on his mental strength in GS finals and it also depends on luck ("good" draws).

Sure. Very good, but not anywhere near "great" and they were slam contenders prior to 2000. You and Ays25 claimed that Djokovic wouldn't have been a Slam contender before 2000 and so I assume that you consider both Martin and Rusedski superior players to Djokovic. I think that's a lot of nonsense.

Farenhajt

Who is he?

Don't pay attention to this. "King Oscar Hernandez" is running MTF "joke" (so old it doesn't remotely resemble a joke any more).

...and it also depends on luck ("good" draws).

I expect the importance of that "draw luck" factor to gradually weaken as Novak improves his game and builds more decisive dominance over the field. As for the endings, he's anyway destined to spend most of his semifinals and finals with Roger and Rafa (in one order or the other) for quite some time.

stupid question... he obviously does... (his chances are 100% as long as fed retires)
