Nothing new for Nole-hating Fedtards: he lost the second set 06, then asked for a med timeout, then won the third set 61 (all of that together is supreme proof of his cheating, of course).

this is a dumb article IMO. the guys comments are very general and really show me no proof as to why Djokovic isn't a good tennis player?

wow, he slammed a water bottle and slammed a racket. big woooop! the guy is competitive he wants to win. everyone can see that. he's the type who wears his emotions on his sleeve.

as for his mother's comments I think they were blown out of context. if she did say it, still what's the big deal? i'm not even old enough to have kids, but I do know that most athletes parents think their kid is pretty damn good (and this goes down to the pee wee leagues). that's just natural for a parent to think that away about their child, who they brought into this earth.

when Nole wins a Grand Slam title next year, that guy will start drinking the kool aid. no worries.

Relax Nole fans: this comes with the territory. So what?! A blogger trash talks Nole ... the same way some does with Federer and Nadal. Cry me a river ... I could understand if it was a major tennis writer, or something like that. So far the main stream media loves Djoko ...

Btw: not all Nole-haters are Federer fans. Actually, this boggles my mind ... With Nadal I can understand people calling Fed fans haters, because the spaniard leads on the H-2-H thing, defeated Roger at Paris three times in a row, preventing Roger from winning the GS. But a couple of tough matches isnt enough for Fed fans starting going crazy/ bashing on Nole because he is a "threat". Lets wait for Nole to defeat Roger on a grand slam, for this chat be real ...

Maybe people just don't like Nole because they think he's a fake media whore? I know that's why I don't like him.

To be fair to the Nole fans who say that the Fedtards are just "threatened" () after Djoko beat Rafa in Montreal GM was like "Everybody Loves Nole!" but this swiftly changed. The very next day I think ;)

Nice to see that not everyone in the media is fawning over Djokovic. I like Federer sure but that isn't why I dislike Nole. He comes across as very fake and cold under his veneer of humour and wit. Nevertheless I can be objective, hence not tardism. He has an incredibly impressive game, great shotmaking and anticipation. His serve alone is a real strength. Novak will definitely be No1 once Fed slips off the podium. But I still hope his days in the sun aren't too long and others challenge him consistently for the top spot. Crikey, I'd rather Nadal or Murray were number 1 rather than Nole in years to come. Can you imagine how condescending and unsufferably arrogant he'll be when he reaches the top of the pole? *shudders* his impersonations will probably get crueller too...

I think players very often show their emotion and frustration, Novak spoiled a watter. So what? Ferrer did a kick to official tournament clock and it stoped. He succed to do something that magicians and phisics didn't. To stop the time.
This blog reffers to Novak's bad game in previous couple of years when he had 16 or something. I do not exspect to give him a credit but at least keep in mind how old is he...

Surely you know it is pure heresy to say, suggest, itimate, or mime the thought that anyone has ever played better than Federer or might someday play better than Federer.

This is why Nadal is permitted to sit at the foot of the throne: He always says Federer is the favorite and the best even when Federer is playing on clay. :) The only time he slipped was when Federer was accusing him of cheating. But, you know, that was ok because Federer said it. Now if Djokovic were to say something like that about another player -- :tape:

I think Djokovic is a retard. He was dropped by his mom when he was a kid. His head doesn't go with his body. I am no federer fan or nadal fan or whoever's fan. I just like to see Djokovic banned for cheating.... He tried to pull that shit in the finals against Roger, but lost the plot.

One thing is for sure: it took Rafa one and a half years of winning GS/ MS titles and beating Roger on its way, for people to really consider Rafa a threat to Roger and the "real number one" (Sorry Blaze_2004, no pun intended). So, even if I do think Nole is a good player, I would take some deep breathes first... And lets not forget about Nadal- he is one sneaky guy!  All it would take for Nadal is to have another miracle run at Madrid for people settling down.

And refference to what his mom said is missused as well. She said that his son played better than Federer in this game, not in general. Federer was one who had to chase the result all the time. Novak played good but missed a lot of chanses so it did not depend on Fed who is going to win but to Novak. Of course better is the one who wins at the end. And that is Fed this time.

You are right but I'm starting to like Nadal. Fed will always be my big favorite but watching Nadal at the US Open...I think I just have a new respect for him. Fed said the same after his semi with Davy at the French and I don't remember his brother/wife/mother saying that Davy was the better player. In fact, he probably had more chances than the Djokovic.

The match being closer than it looks has nothing to do with what his mother said. So you're bringing up another issue. I was just saying that it wasn't quite the one-sided route of Federer demolishing someone, despite the straight sets. But if you still want to harp on an on about someone's mother, be my guest...

Wasn't it Savannah that wrote it, rather than Craig Hickman? The "By Savannah" at the top of the article first alerted me that this might be the case.

Very observant of you.

Hi Nole's dad. :wavey: It's amazing you can manage your son's career and post here at the same time. :)

Nice analogy but his dad isn't managing him and I am not related to them obviously

"We won't talk about throwing water all over the court, will we? Can you imagine what would have happened if any other player had done that?"

The writer of this article isn't even a fan of Federer.

This poster kept trying to advertise his blog on this forum and now someone take this blog seriously, like a valid media guru? :haha:

I read GWH's blog and his is much better and he doesn't need to advertise it.;)

A valid media guru? Don't you think that this is a tad exaggerated, Lee?
Somebody merely posted the blog on MTF for this blog entry and it doesn't look like it was linked by either Graig Hickman or Savannah either so how exactly is he advertising his blog this time unless Fedfan_2007 was asked to do the advertising for him or her?

I don't know this reputation of this Graig Hickman on MTF since I don't remember him posting here but I don't quite get why MTF posters need to drag this Hickman through the mud for something he did not write. I can understand that some people seriously resent the content of this blog but it looks like you're attacking the wrong person.

Actually I've been banned from Hickman's blog. The ass.

Because of this post.

He used to creating threads on GM with a link to his blog. He stopped because that's spamming and warned by mods. And I believed I used past tense in my original post.

 because it's on his blog. It's something call "by association". Like Novak was also blamed for what his parents said and how they behaved in the player's box?

Let's get something clear, There was nothing wrong with Nole's parents , not in this USO at least, just a bunch of scared haters making things up since they have nothing on him

How is that suggesting that some people now consider this Hickman to be a valid media guru?

It's not worth the discussion (not for me anyway) but it's exaggerated as far as I am concerned.

It is more than obvious that this is a blog (so characterised by a personal viewpoint) and not a series of articles for which the journalist is required to take a neutral viewpoint and try to stay as objective as possible.

As far as that advertising thing in your post, Lee. Maybe he did so in the past, but it's clear that this was not the case this time so that was a moot point and had nothing to do with the content of this particular blog entry.
