Davydenko's record against the other top 6 players (Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, Roddick, and Blake) is an amazing 0-22! He's now 0-10 against Roger, 0-2 against Rafa, 0-4 against Roddick, and 0-6 against Blake. Damn!

OTOH, he's 17-3 against the next 5 highest ranked-players (Gonzalez, Ferrer, Berdych, Haas, and Robredo).

Davydenko is where he should be in the rankings. Is that what you mean?

PMK doesn't believe he can beat Federer and while some of the other matches he has had chances, but hasn't taken them.

He does well in the Slams making SFs and QFs, do that in 3 out of the 4 Slams consistently as he has done recently, then top 10 status is virtually assured.

That just further justifies his current ranking. Good enough to beat most players besides the top echelon of players. Can't explain how he has never beaten Roddick, and Blake is a matchup issue.

Davydenko = work ethic, hard working player with less talent compared to other players in the top 10

If you have limited skill, the one thing you should do to exist in the top 10 is always fight till your last blood and Davy is a good example for that and he is very deserved in the top 10.

Davydenko has proven why is he ranked No. 4.

Well deserved and you can't argue with it.

Davydenko has never played against Djokovic before.

All of the four meetings against Roddick occurred in early 2005 and earlier before Davydenko became a top 10 player. It would be interesting to see the two play against each other although it would be more interesting if Davydenko had more belief against the top players.

Davydenko's record in the Grand Slams the last couple of years has been outstanding, rarely losing before QFs and SFs outside of Wimbledon and he even managed to make the 4th round at Wimbledon this year. I think he doesn't get enough credit for that by the media. He currently has a sizable lead over Roddick in the rankings and has achieved most of his points in the big events so his ranking is well-deserved.

Davydenko doesn't deserve no credit whatsoever. The man is a cheat and disgrace to tennis.

He certainly has the game to dispose of Roddick. Strange he hasn't beaten him yet. Blake is an obvious bad match up.
