Videos from US Open 2007, which you cant see

Hi, I just wanted to get some feedback on US Open 2007 videos/multimedia being available. youtube site gives message that videos are no longer available due to copyright claim by USTA. Highlights reels are not available from their website (, apparently that they (USTA I assume) did not make them available to viewers outside US. Yet their closing ceremony gets unceremoniously cuts short by CBS to make room for 60 minutes.

WTF? What are their trying to achieve??? I watched the whole match on the internet, so what is USTA losing by making highlights reels of matches older than a week available?? Do they expect to be paid for highlights from older matches???

I wondered about this as well. I can't believe that the USTA would produce all of that content and not make it available to everyone. There has to be a good explanation for it, I wonder if Wertheim can dig it up.

They're trying not to promote tennis at all.
