Post your comments here. How long can Ivan keep up those pathetic performances?Hopefully no top players will play here, although a bagel or two might be a good thing for him in a long term,so he can wake up :wavey:

thats probably the hardest QT, but its not really that bad, Ivan is playing better then Baggy and Gonzo at this moment, which does not say much, if he puts in the effort he can win this.

:spit:
In your dreams man.

1. He does not give a fuck about anything in tennis anymore (except money and maybe his last DC tie).
2. He'll chicken out and play defensive vs Baghs (if he gets to him),and Baghs wont have any problems beating Ivan.

Baghdatis is sucking even more, Ljubo can take him, Ivan wasted playing bad vs Chela he just ran out of gas.

Ivan said he still has hopes for Masters Cup.
He said he has to do well in Madrid and Paris and one more tournament.
Will he prove me wrong and show that he still has some fire in him?
I hope so.
I have only two wishes,
for this tournament,
Ivan to play offensive again
and to show some fighting spirit

Please win some tough matches for your confidence.
This bad plays just can't continue...

I really hope he can finally beat Baghdatis but Ljubo was often talking before the matches against him he'll revenge his previous loss to him and then he lost again.
But I'm with him here and hopefully he can beat him this time.

Man what a match! Conditions are very slow in Beijing so its not a big suprise to see a lot of breaks but Ivan played much better than he has been lately. He hit a crazy good fh pass at 5-5 15-30 in the 3rd set. Now its Gonzo.

Blue Heart24
09-14-2007, 02:04 PM
:yeah:
I'm very happy because he played much better groundstrokes than in USO,and the fact that he won a match against Baghdatis without his biggest weapon-serve.Only 6 aces, and 50 % of the first serve.
I hope he will serve better tomorrow,he can beat the out form Fena.

Beijing is finished story.
Ivan will play DC next week. After that he has 2 weeks off.
Then it's the final run.4 weeks in a row,Vienna,Madrid,Lyon,Paris (hopefully Shanghai :awww:).I wish him, best of luck,I wish him to do great in indoors,to get his confidence fully back, and to keep improving, playing more and more aggresive and good tennis.Because I saw improvement this week in Beijing.:rocker2:

in his interview, ivan said that he was exhausted. it just sucks that he couldn't close this out because he played a perfect first set and gonzo really wasn't in this match at all. he lost so many points when he had short, midcourt balls to put away, it was ridiculous

RickDaStick
09-15-2007, 11:20 PM
Should of won it but i dont really care Im just glad its indoor season now and we can see Ivan and his serve. Beijing was the slowest conditions ive ever seen. Slow court and the ball wasnt going through the air at all, it was worse than hamburg. Id be willing to bet Ivan will have more aces his 1st indoor match than all 4 matches he played in Beijing combined.
