Baghdatis72
09-10-2007, 12:44 PM
Most people don't know the meaning of the word choke.

I have defined it from 1st principles:

Choking: A term used in sports and especially in tennis, to describe a lapse in mental strength which causes the feeling of "choking" to the tennis player exhibiting the lapse in mental strength and leads to unexpectedly poor play which leads to loss of important points that lead to the loss of a game, a set or the match.

The phenomenon is triggered when an important point follows and the players starts to feel nervous about it in excess. This causes instant psychic energy loss which causes the annoying feeling of anxiety in the heart chakra which leads to the feeling of choking. The coordination of the legs, hands and eyes are seriously affected and serving, the strokes, thinking and volleying are severely undermined.

Thanks :D

Action Jackson
09-10-2007, 12:48 PM
The 2nd part is very accurate and yes most people still misuse the term.

He'll work on it :)

Indian Wells he admitted he was overwhelmed by the occasion.. comes back in Miami and takes it ;)

Hopefully that will be the case after the USO final and he will return to win a GS next year ;)

He must have been greatly disappointed with himself after having so many chances in the final.

Who do you think will make the final?

Probably USA vs Russia imo.

I don't give a fuck as long as the Americans don't win, but since the Toad is out. this is looking likely.

They have come to Sweden a few times and have got overconfident and got burned.

I just hope Marcos can play well today, but I don't expect him to win.

I heard many good things about Cyprus.

Yes, in NYC, there is a large Greek-Cypriot community, and especially in the part where I live. For some reason they all make fun of people from Paphos:confused:. Is there anything wrong with that part? Do people always joke around like that about people from Paphos?
