Good morning everyone :)

Henman broken in first game. He really is a shite isn't he. Whats really funny is that in a few weeks the English media will be full of "Is this the year for Henman to win Wimbledon?" I always laugh at this every year.
Still, I hope he wins this match, but really, who cares ;)

Saulnier-Henman i am watching looks like it can be interesting later on.

And Eurosport always says she has improved her serve ;) but it's quite windy...
looool, yes I heard that, too
it was the wrong time to talk about that *g* :p

but actually I think the Eurosport commentator meant that she improved her serve concerning speed and kick on the 2nd serve, and I fully support this. I think it's really astonishing how such a slender and only 1,65m tall woman can hit the ball so hard (about 180-185km/h) and her 2nd serve is also quite good IF it is in, at least, compared to so many other women on the tour, she manages to put some moderate kick and spin into her 2nd serves
I think that's quite amazing how she improved in this when you think of her game around 2000 to 2002.

Berdych is like 100 in the world, I am not sure but is Hard courts preferred in the Czech rep? because Novak and Stepanek prefer Hard courts too.

I think it is a good draw really for paradorn, at least he doesnt get a natural clay cpurter like Verdasco or Gaudio or someone.

Let's go Kolya.

Neely
05-24-2004, 11:22 AM
the problem with Coria is that he mainly concentrates on reducing unforced errors and retrieving all balls, but sometimes he struggles against guys that have a good claycourt game and who are able to hit winners. Just remember the Horna vs Coria match from Hamburg. Horna took risk and hit hard strokes and Coria immediately was struggling and lost a set.

Against a lot of other players Tim would be out of the tournament by now. He is doing well to be 5-2 up in a 3rd set tiebreak the way he's playing

Come on Tim

just when ya think Henman's grand slam disasters cant go any worse, along comes another :)

the tie break has only delayed the inevitable, unless saulnier injuries (hand, leg) start hurting, mind you, knowing tim........ he'll get to 5-3 up in the 5th set then lose :)

Sjengster

I haven't got TV coverage at the moment, I only got online about ten minutes ago, so I don't know how exactly Henman got two sets to love down versus Saulnier, but it'd be nice if he could keep going and avoid a first-round flameout.

tim cannot do a thing to this guy's serves, and with tim always serving 2nd in set 4, the pressure will crack him (as usual)
