RickDaStick

It would be.
1.Vliegen
2.Monfils
3. Chela
4. Gonzo
QF. Nadal

Not a bad draw for Ivan. IFFFFFFFFFF he can play like he knows how to then he could make the quarters atleast

Blue Heart24
08-22-2007, 09:29 PM
He should win his first round.Vliegen is in even worse slump then himself.
If he can somehow get past Monfils,he has a good chance of reaching quarters.Chela ain't a hardcourter and Gonzo is also in horrible form lately.

But all this won't be possible if Ivan doesnt raise his level and starts playing good again.:wavey:

Word "should" is not the best word to use when talking about Ivan Ljubicic.

He should have done many things and did not.He CAN do good here, but on the other side,I wouldn't be suprised at ALL if he will give us another pathetic performance and lose in the first round of this GS again.

Schildenfeld is an idiot. Together with Zdravko Mamic who tries to make NK Dilamo from NK Dinamo :retard:

With this draw, and performance in R1,for me it would be just fantastic if he could make the QF,Nadal has some problems,so a SF is not impossible, but it will be very very tough to achieve that and Ivan would have to play at a very high level, and his serve must work.I have hope for this USO.

Looking at the draw I can't see who can stop him at least till the QF. I just hope he won't lose to Pavel or Chela cause I just couldn't stand that.
Safin is the only possible seed now he can meet in 1/8 final since Fena lost, and Safin is very beatable these days, I'm not even sure he'll get there.
Nadal also might lose already to Tipsarevic, we've seen him against Jones and he was awful. It would be great if Ivan could make another GS semifinal :D

He played the best 3 games of the match when he was down 0-5 in the fifth.
I think he has some mental issues at the moment. Can't play relaxed, scared to miss, affraid to hit a strong shot.
Another huge disappointment and I just hope he finds himself again someday,if not, this has no sense anymore.

If this continues...He will be out of top of top 20,50 very soon.He once had so beautiful attacking style and now he is a huge defender with no weapons besides serve
If he doesnt change his style quickly he will do himself unreturnable damage.
I mean,I like him so much,he's my all time favourite but it's worrying me he actually said he will play till 2012.Tourchering himself and his fans for another 4-5 years...That will be painful. And if he doesnt change something I can easily see him falling out of top 100 in a year, two, and back to challenger level.Does he really want that?

He has done many things in his career, won 8 titles, had some other great results, was top 5 several weeks,a whole year in top 10,career high #3.And this is exatcly why I don't want him to end his career in an incredibly low level

Yeah he has nothing to defend next year,I heard this every time when he lost, but can he win something big?Actually I don't think he will and it's ok he won't,but he should beat his bitch, win the match that he is expected to win in GS.
He usually has a big serve, how come he was broken 4 times in the last set? That's ridiculous.Everything is changing, few years ago he had a much better game : a big serve, nice BH and volley. But now it seems these weapons are weakening. He might play some good shots, but the amount is not enough to win a match. Also I think he seems to struggle to play at outdoor with a high temperature/sun.He is not like that Nadal to run like a rabbit and have full energy all the time.See what happened today after he won the third?Plus now the weather is getting hotter and hotter, not a good news for him for sure.

No one happier then me if he starts playing again on level of late 2005/early 2006.
But I think that will never happen again.Ivan had his best time,we enjoyed it very much,it was really a great thing, but his time has past.
The only thing that makes me  is that I know,I feel,he could still play on that level.Just a little more hard work, and not to be scared to hit a strong shot.
That's the only reason I am complaining and mad about his play and results.
But apparently,Ivan does not have it in himself anymore.Burned out.No desire.
