I think that he could have a real good shot to reach the semifinals.

David surely is a positive candidate for the final winner, coz all the top-tenner are likely to beat each other.

But I'm afraid if David enters final, could he deal with his mental obstacle? I mean, he seemed having a little problem to do well in the final. Look back at Hamburg, Toronto'03 and Wimbledon'02. And at Basel'03, he just withdraw without playing a game. No doubt David is physically strong enough to win any title, but what he lacks is a little luck.

hey, yixiang,;) so just like what i predicted, he can reach the final, and if God bless him a little luck, then will be winner!! I always believe, as he lack so much luck before, these missing luck will be accumulated and finally contribute to him to win a GS!! God is always fair to anybody;)

He withdrew from Basel because of a wrist injury, he also withdrew from Paris after that.

So, his biggest opponent is - lack of luck;)

Wow, you are right. We hope that he can overcome those. The first two seem to have him "beat" for the moment....
