unfortunately it's pretty difficult to find some

neither does atptennis.com include them in matchfacts overview (http://www.atptennis.com/en/players/matchfacts/) nor in the players' profiles (http://www.atptennis.com/3/en/players/playerprofiles/matchfacts.asp?playernumber=F324) apart from the naked number

feel free to post everything you got related to missed 2nd serves :)

OK, time to push this one forward :) (or sticking to the title, wide out ;) )

The record for most double faults in a match is probably 27, shared by Ivanisevic and Kafelnikov. Guillermo Coria deserves an honorable mention for serving 23 doubles in a best-of-3 match, and winning it.

According to one source, in the match between Arnaud Clement and Marc Rosset, Davis Cup 2001 (Clement won 6-3 3-6 7-6(4) 6-7(6) 15-13 in 5h 46m), in which Rosset served 48 aces, he also recorded 30 DFs. I doubt that, but came up empty handed when searching for this match stats in ATPtennis, Davis Cup site and Google. Maybe Voo de Mar can fill out this one.

The WTA mark is, expectedly, more impressive: 31 double faults in a winning effort(!) by then 17 year-old Anna Kournikova in AO 1999:

http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/archive/index.php/t-51366.html (I wonder if Mr. Patrick is right about the 1927 AO Final)

Some more interesting stats are offered in the following thread (http://www.menstennisforums.com/showthread.php?t=91979) (pages 3, 5, 6), I hope they're verified:

Serving out (pun intended :p ) a service game:
Coria, in the afformentioned win over Kiefer at Monte Carlo 2006;
Gilles Elseneer, while being hammered by Kuerten at Roland Garros 2001;
Boris Becker in the Masters Cup Final 1994 vs. Sampras
- all three have lost service games by serving 4 doubles in a row.

Most double faults in a game: again Coria, 6, from the same match against Kiefer, and he won that service game! It is suggested that Taylor Dent has repeated this feat.

I saw this info on German site but I can't confirm it. I didn't follow that match on TV or scoreboard. The same thing with 27 double faults in Ivanisevic's match against Paes (I read it in a newspaper).
I can confirm 27 DF's by Kafelnikov in CGSC (Munich) - I saw that match :)

BTW: on en.wikipedia is written that record is "26" - Rosset in the losing match to Joyce at Wimbledon. This is probably ATP record.

Coria was the first name that came to my mind when I've read the title of the thread :lol:

Guille Coria :o :sad: for sure he has the worst negative difference between aces-double faults, against Grosjean in the australian open 2006 he hit 0 aces and 23 double faults ,and 0 aces and 23 against Kiefer too :o

i do not think any other player surpasses that :sad:

he hit 0 aces and 20 df against Mathieu too :o

That was also my only source, and probably Voo's as well. A single wikipedia entry is not enough to confirm such a stat (and most other things, actually).
However, entering the string clement 48 30 "marc rosset" to Google News Archive Search, an article dated April 8th 2001, from the French newspaper Le Monde came up which backs up this number, so it is probably true and thus is the DF record (and by some margin :) ). It's strange though that it is so hard to find mentions of this.
