Looking around this forum I was surprised to see that Nathan Healey does not have a thread! He has won a couple of ATP Tour Doubles titles (including the adidas International in 2003 with Paul Hanley), and performed consistently on the ATP Tour Challenger circuit.
Nathan won the Burnie Challenger earlier this year, and consequently achieved a career high ranking of 159. Currently sitting at 164, hopefully Nathan will have a big ending to another successful season and finally take that next step into playing more ATP Tour events...
Good luck for the rest of the year Nathan!! :)

Good Luck Nathan for his upcoming events, hopefully he can pick up that ranking.

Nathan seems to be in a bit of a downward spiral result wise. Perhaps we can put it down to post marriage jitters but it is now time to step it up. I was surprised at how little recognition he received over the summer in terms of wild cards. His mixed doubles effort with Molik at the Australian Open was very poor as I felt they were a chance to do very well. They lost their forst set 6/1

He received a wildcard to a US chalenger and he defeated Lukas Dlouhy in straight sets in the first round. Hopefully the start of a comeback.

Nice that he got a wild card and made the most of the thing. Looks like a winnable second round as well. Hopefully his honeymoon is over and he is committed to lifting his tennis career up again!

He lost his second round match, good effort though.

A real turn around in terms of form and confidence. So glad that he did not waste that wild card!

It seems people don't post in Nathan's thread too often () but the last post wasn't too long ago so I'll assume there's someone out there that would be interested in the pictures I took of Nathan today at an exhibition, and be interested in hearing what I have to say about our brief meeting  I'll share my pictures later. :D
Nathan should just forget about the 2008 season and concentrate on getting his form and ranking back to top 200 god knows he has the talent

Nathan Healey undergoes emergency heart surgery
THE international tennis community is in shock after former Australian player and coach Nathan Healey underwent emergency heart surgery.
The New South Welshman, once regarded as one of the nation's finest prospects and later coach to Lleyton Hewitt, is believed to have undergone a 12-hour operation in the US.
A string of players, including Perth's Matt Ebden, American Ryan Harrison and Scot Jamie Murray, joined a score of coaches and commentators in expressing their concern over Healey on Twitter.
Healey, 32, worked with Hewitt until 2010.
He has lived in Philadephia for several years and, with his wife Marnie, has two young children.
He turned professional in 1998, playing on the men's professional tour for 12 years, reaching career-high rankings of 58 in doubles and 159 in singles.
He then turned to coaching, collaborating with Hewitt.
Healey last season represented the Philadelphia Freedoms in World Team Tennis.
The Australian recently opened a tennis academy in Malvern and has worked with youth groups.

That is not good news. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Nathan, and his family, for a speedy recovery.
