05-17-2004, 03:41 PM
Karol - Nieminen 63 36 50

Nieminen is loosing every week to players around rank. 700. Shame on you!

An easy next round for Bogomolov.

05-17-2004, 10:15 PM
An easy next round for Bogomolov.

I'm really hesistant to call any round easy. Vasilis was supposed to be fairly easy this morning and he turned out to be a pain in the ass.

The score may read 6-4 in the 3rd BUT Alex was down 1-3 in that Final set and came back to being on serve at 5-4 where he broke to win the match!!!

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I expect him to win in straights on Wednesday but I won't call it "easy." ;)

05-18-2004, 10:47 PM
Anyone knowes doubles scores??

I can't find them in Czech...

05-19-2004, 03:25 PM
I'm so pissed!!! :fiery: :fiery:

The website was following the other Single's matches but then when it came time for Alex's they skipped right over and went to Santoro at 4:30. Now there has been no update or a change in the OP to say if there was a walkover or not.

Alex better not have to play two matches tomorrow  . Especially with the 2nd being a rematch vs. Kucera.

Bogie Won!!! def. (WC)Dusan Karol 6-2 6-4

:bounce: :bounce:

I don't know why the scoreboard and the site didn't post his result though   . They skipped right over it!!

Now he plays Karol Kucera in the QFs tomorrow. Time for revenge!!

05-20-2004, 12:35 PM
Bogie got his revenge!!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

(5)ALEX BOGOMOLOV, JR. def. (2)Karol Kucera 7-6 6-1

Absolutely beautiful scoreline!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Going by the scoreboard he got broken 3 times in the 3rd set but broke back every time :D :D :D

Now he'll play either (WC)Ivo Minar or Francesco Aldi

Go Bogie!!!! :worship:

05-21-2004, 02:28 AM

(5)ALEX BOGOMOLOV, JR. vs. (WC)Ivo Minar

(8)Jan Hernych vs. (7)Bohdan Ulihrach

05-21-2004, 03:01 PM
Bogomolov jr. - Minar 4-6 0-6

What a surprising score! I thought Alex will win the tournament.

05-21-2004, 06:18 PM
So did I

I think something went wrong when he lost his serve at 4-5 to lose the set but no one has heard from him yet so I don't know.

05-22-2004, 04:13 PM
Tennis724...too bad about Alex...sort of surprising. By the way, that is a much better picture on your profile now.

Thanks!! It's actually part of a better picture of him from Prague yesterday. This is the only photo the tournament had of him the whole week (except for one of his back  ). I had to crop this one about 5 or 6 times to get it to fit :p .

05-22-2004, 07:53 PM
Anyone knows the finals scores??

05-22-2004, 08:18 PM
(8)Jan Hernych def. (WC)Ivo Minar 6-1 6-4

Shows me that Ivo's win yesterday (his 20th birthday) was probably not all him  .

05-23-2004, 07:01 AM
Great win for Hernych, finally achieving at least something.
