Roddick lost the last 2 TB by score of 2-7, 3-7 :haha:

:rolls: What an irony. Andy had won 18 TB's in a row and then lost 2 easy tie-breaks in a row to Gasquet.

He's going to go back to last year's tie break form :help:

To Gasquet, one of the major chokers on tour.

I hate matches like this.

Guy is basically about to lose and then he decides to play while the other guy can't close it.

I don't know how anyone can praise Richie for just starting to play at the end of the third. And whoever ends up winning if Andy chokes this away will get killed by Roger next round.

Gasquet deserves a lot of credit too. Some awesome backhands. :worship:

Voo de Mar, this is what I meant when I was having that discussion with you on your tiebreak thread, about tbs.

This shows as big as anything, that all tbs are so different. Winning them in a QF against a quality player would have made andy's record very sweet. But if you lose these when it counts, then it really makes you wonder what that tb record is all about

Gasquet is litteraly on fire, somebody has drenched him in gasoline and lit him up. Hes running round and hitting strokes like a robot.

It's true but after all Roddick has won in his career the tie-breaks in QF, SF & Final of the Grand Slam events.

Gasquet won't win. No 5th set tiebreak means he HAS to break serve and that is the only thing working for Roddick right now.

But we are just looking at this current streak. In this current streak, he has only 3 or 4 big tb wins. The rest were against people he ought not to have found himself in a tiebreak in, but yes of course credit that he won them when he reached them.

OMG. I left the SB Roddick was up two sets to love and a break. I was convinced this was all over by now and I see they are deep into a fifth set

What a crazy day!

King of TB's? :haha:
Thankfully even if he beats gasquet today Federer will destroy him. Gasquet has better chances of giving Federer a fight.
