to win all four Slams on diferent surfaces:

4 Australian Opens, Rebound Ace.
1 French Open, Clay.
1 Wimbledon, Grass.
2 U.S Opens, Hard Court.(Deco)

That is a tremendous effort. Pete and Roger can't say they've done the same.

Agassi wasn't the first to win Slams on 4 different surfaces.

Don Budge won all 4 in a same year in 1938
Rod Laver won all 4 in a same year in 1962 & 1969

Wilander won the AO on grass and Rebound Ace, RG on clay and US Open on hardcourt, therefore he did it first.

Laver and Budge won three of their four on grass, not RA and Deco.

Agassi never won a Calendar Slam.

None of them ever served a ball 150+ mph....we all know that's what really matters.

Funny how the only player capable of doing that hasn't even came close to these achievements.

I believe it was about winning ALL FOUR Grand Slams on different surfaces. Wilander never won Wimbledon.

Hmm. Connors did 4, too.
Deco, rebound, grass, clay.

and so? . The thread is not about who is the greatest player, but about the uniqueness of this particular achievement. Your previous example (Wilander) is also wrong if you read the OP carefully.

Strange to see you come out with this tard-like replies GWH :) :wavey:

Haha, the thread starter is right.

Wilander never won Wimby and Perry, Budge, Emerson and Laver won them when three of the four were played on grass.

And now that the AO is switching from rebound ace to hard, it will never be achieved again.

It can be achieved, but only by active players who have already won the AO. That would include Safin, Federer and ToJo.

THANKYOU! :)

Connors and Wilander won on all surfaces, but didn't win Wimbledon and Roland Garris respectively. Laver, Emerson and Budge won all Slams, but at the tme, three were played on grass.

Okay, so we all agree that agassi's great. What else is new?

What a waste of thread space.
