How does Donald Young get to play in the GS juniors when he turned pro three years ago?

They need to set down the same rules as a golf. When you go pro, you should be banned from everything else.

at least he is winning something.

He is still 18, means this is his last year before he turns 19. Im sure there are many guys in that junior draw who have played Futures, and Challengers as well. As well as being Pro/Amatur is totally irrelovent.

All you have to do to this guy is just ignore him, just look at his immature signature. :o

You know you've lost any argument once you go to the retard symbol.

I loves me some Donald Young, but I agree that he should be ineligible to play juniors. The ITF needs to repeal that rule ASAP.

because he already played a tons of futures (even won one )and challengers matches plus 10 atp pro matches

so he was not playing anymore juniors and then of all sudden he come back to play, its not fair

I dont think is unfair....

I think he was going to win all in straight sets... but he have some problems in some matches...

Vs Kleftakos he win 10-8 at STbreak......

Young is not a super player.... but actually is the best Junior (Under 18) and deserve to continue playing this type of tournaments.......

He will play his last junior tournament at UsOpen this year.... he really like to win it... last year he was Semifinalist (lost to Peter Polanski)

and so what if he won 10-8 in the third? you do no get the point here
by playing so many atp matches its like he has surpassed the junior category, he does not belong there anymore, its like he is a pro now
he should not play juniors anymore, in fact i do not remember other player has done the same as donald young

All U-18 deserved to play.....
Del Potro last year was able to play juniors too, but he have a better ATP ranking and focused in his pro-career..

Do you think the best idea is to prohibit to play Young because he is too good.....???

He is not "too good" I think ...

Young cant play junior tournaments because he won 1 singles Future and won 2 doubles Challengers..... Its ridicoulous....

The rules say that anyone 18 and under are allowed to play with parents premission. Doesnt say anything about being pro or not.
