JMG 08-27-2007, 07:51 AM I don't think he can lose this match to be honest. :) kiwi10is 08-27-2007, 03:14 PM My US friend told me that the Americans hate Spadea because of some trouble he caused in the Davis Cup team... so maybe they will cheer for Kiwi kiwifan80 08-27-2007, 06:31 PM Anybody know if his match will be on livestream since he's playing on the show court? I don't have cable  kiwifan80 08-27-2007, 10:03 PM Actually I found a live stream of his match if anyone else is interested here's the link : http://www.coolstreaming.us/channel.php?opt=count&id_canale=6725&lang=it Yappa 08-27-2007, 10:37 PM Straight sets win. :yeah: They clearly cheered for Vince and were quite happy when Kiefer hit dfs, but oh well. Apart from the horrible service game when serving for the 2nd set, a pretty good performance. A lot better than for example his match against Djokovic in Wimbledon where he had quite a lot of fh UEs. He'll need to keep that solid baseline play to have a chance against Davydenko. Neely 08-27-2007, 11:24 PM Yes, very good match of Kiwi, clearly the best since his comeback :yeah: Really some very good points and he was also quick and trying to reach all possible shots. BTW, the commentator said that he wanted the locker #69  kfh_9118 08-28-2007, 02:24 AM well done Kiwi, too bad I can't wake up earlier this morning to watch the match. Hopefully I can watch her second round match Please beat Davydenko :fiery: Neely 08-28-2007, 07:48 AM Hopefully I can watch her second round match haha, no problem with the "her", the transition from WTA to MTF and to know where you are currently isn't that easy :p ;) kfh_9118 08-28-2007, 02:00 PM haha, no problem with the "her", the transition from WTA to MTF and to know where you are currently isn't that easy :p ;) oopssss :o Yappa 08-30-2007, 02:04 PM 4th match on Armstrong. Athletics, which already starts at 1 am CET, might get in the way of the Eurosport live coverage of Kiwis match, if the previous matches take too long. May the power of the Hawkeye be with Nicolas. :) kiwi10is 08-30-2007, 02:30 PM May the power of the Hawkeye be with Nicolas. :) :haha: and the power of 1st serve But is there hawkeye on Louis Armstrong?? I think they only have it on Arthur Ashe... Neely 08-30-2007, 02:45 PM  Hope he has a good day today. Auf gehts Kiwi :) But is there hawkeye on Louis Armstrong?? I think they only have it on Arthur Ashe... No, it's really on Armstrong as well. kfh_9118 08-30-2007, 08:38 PM anyone knows if we can watch the match live online? All chanel I have online shows Court 13 atm :fiery: Kiefer is down a set  Yappa 08-30-2007, 08:42 PM If you don't have access to the Eurosport stream, then you're screwed, I guess. Eurosport Germany just switched to Kiwis match. The first set was pretty much forgettable anyways, so I don't regret missing it. kfh_9118 08-30-2007, 08:51 PM I tried the open the link from Channelsurfing, all links show Grosjean's match :help: I guess I have to pay for the Eurosport stream? Yappa 08-30-2007, 08:56 PM Yes, it's a Pay Stream and can only be used by European users. 0:30, but then 4 points in a row from Davydenko. The russian is still leading with a break in the 2nd set. :( kfh_9118 08-30-2007, 09:06 PM now Grosjean's match is over :) I hope they will show Kiefer's match now. then again, I have to prepare to go to work shortly  kfh_9118 08-30-2007, 09:11 PM they're showing Clement-Johansson instead :fiery: judging from the score, Kiefer is not playing good either  Yappa 08-30-2007, 09:16 PM He's getting slaughtered. :help: They switched to the Haas match after Kiefer lost the 2nd set. Good choice.  kfh_9118 08-30-2007, 10:45 PM Can't believe he will lose this easy :fiery: Yappa 08-30-2007, 11:56 PM Yeah, nobody expected him to be defeated that easily. That score is shocking. Can't say anything else, right now. Didn't watch enough to say, what exactly went wrong. Neely 08-31-2007, 01:56 AM I saw all of what they showed on Eurosport: last game of the first set, I believe complete 2nd set and from 4-0 in the third set And I can tell you not only the scoreline looks shocking, the performance itself was deeply disappointing. He looked without any fight and almost nothing was working for him. Kiwi caught a really bad day today, you could almost say he tanked it. He just had no positive reaction or so. Of course is Davydenko hard and was playing well and his serve was working (80% first serve and 80% 1st serve winning % for most stretches), just had the feeling Kiwi was like a mute player with the lack of attitude :o kiwifan80 08-31-2007, 03:31 PM Yeah I had to look at the score a couple of times to really get it. I thought that he'd atleast win a set, but just an obvious off day:sad: Since he's come back he's sorta been on and off and I think we should expect that hopefully. He'll level out a little bit | |
