His schedule this year has been insane. Probably just taking some time off after Wimbledon. I heard hes playing Stuttgart, maybe we'll get to follow him there?

Guess this means we'll see him in LA. Hope he does even better than this spring.

Just got a look at the draw, its not bad could be worse I think. My dream final based on it would be him and Monaco. I know the odds are against it but I can still dream can't I?

Willy's half of the draw...without the qualifiers...which I assume are not certain by now

CHELA, Juan Ignacio ARG vs MIRNYI, Max BLR
QUALIFIER vs GARCIA-LOPEZ, Guillermo ESP
VERDASCO, Fernando ESP vs MAYER, Florian GER
QUALIFIER vs FERRER, David ESP

CANAS, Guillermo ARG vs WAWRINKA, Stanislas SUI
QUALIFIER vs BECKER, Benjamin GER
QUALIFIER vs NAVARRO PASTOR, Ivan ESP
MONFILS, Gael FRA vs ROBREDO, Tommy ESP

He doesn't have a bad draw here IMO.
Normally the first match shouldn't be a problem. Wawrinka isn't at his best right now. Hasn't been since coming back from injury. Normally I always cheer for him but this time... (sorry Stany...)

Vamos Willy!!!

He's injured    Right thigh.
This really sucks :sobbing:

Guess he won't play Kitzbühl either now...
Hope it's not too bad...

 I guess the next time we'll see him is at the Open? I love watching him play but not when hes hurting. If he took the rest of the year off, no one could blame him. Get Well soon Willy!

Yes, please do keep us informed. He needs some kind of official place to let those of us who care know how he's doing...

Of course. Unfortunately I don't have a phone number so I have to wait for an e-mail.
She’s a member of this board too, so maybe she posts it right away if there is news.
Probably there will be news in the Argentinean sports pages too, but I’m sure Denaon or Willycañas will keep us informed then.

I agree an oficial homepage would come in handy. It's difficult now to get correct information.

Let's hope it won't take that long. He needs the points...

Let's hope the thigh injury now isn't the one from Miami popping up again :scared:.

An official homepage would be great! I'm all for it. Thanks Martine for keeping us posted. :) You rule!

Just a short message. The first problem he had have been breathing problems and when they were gone he started to have trouble with his right leg. Might be the injury from Miami, I don´t know. I hope he will recover and perhaps scip Umag next week.

He´s had an official site before his sanction, but they´ve put it down during his time off the courts and still don´t know if they´ll put it up again. In the moment it seems as if not.

Just another update about Stuttgart. His problems on Tuesday had something to do with the very hot weather we had. It was something like a sunstroke although he should be used to such conditiones.

But he was already practising again on Wednesday, I haven´t been there that day, but I saw him on Thursday - and he had a long and very very hard practising session. He was working really hard and it was unbelievable to watch. He should be able to go far in Umag - if it´s not too hot again.

THX FOR THE UPDATE :yeah:

Good to hear the thigh is better! He's had those breathing problems before but fortunately the weather conditions are much better now.

Fingers crossed for Umag!!!
