Now the match is finally over! :lol: Nevertheless good play of Kiefer so far, I was positively surprised and I hope he can continue like that and even improve to get the needed strength in the little deciding situations as well, even though he did quite well saving many critical situations.

Craptastic match, Kiefer could not win a baseline rally for his own sake. :help:
The forehand was awful, mostly landing at the bottom of the net, backhand was more solid, but it lacked depth and pace. He also was not serving well and his volley stops usually didnt work. Bad performance from him, but considering he is just coming back it is ok. He still has such a long way to got.

Novak played like shit, he should have won the fourth set 60, but missed so many BPs, I think 0/8. He dominated all the baseline rallys though, but too inconsistant also.

Finally Nole is through :) Fourth round against Hewitt tomorrow is :scared:. I remember their match last year at the USO all too well. :tape: He will have to play better than this.

True, but he was extremly lucky getting into the TB. He didnt deserve to win today with this performance.

Kiefer really played a beautiful match from what I saw. He's definitely back and should be able to find a place in the top 15 within the next 12 months.

D'Joke is a tie-break specialist so far (75 % - extremaly well).

That's often like that, even if he would not have missed some time at all. And agree with the volleys, too many dropshots, he should have played more in ordinary style into the corner or with a good length. It's not like he has to be immediately afraid of every passing shot of Djokovic.

The impressive thing is that he is doing it to start his career. Maybe some players have a good record it over their complete career or in their best years, but I think hardly anybody (if at all) ever posted such a strong record to start off his career.

Djokovic really tiebreak king :lol: Funny that Kiefer took one rare tiebreak of Djokovic, but then again Kiefer himself is one of the better tiebreak players regarding overall percentage, but on the other hand you can again say that this tiebreak "should" have been won by Djokovic as well (6-3 lead).

The roller coasters for Nole in tie-breaks this year at Wimbledon :) He lost against Kiefer from 6:3 up and won tie-breaks from 4:6 (Hewitt) and 3:6 down (Baghdatis). I think 2-1 in tie-breaks against Kiefer & Baghdatis plus 3-0 against Hewitt are testifing very well about Djokovic's mental strenght. All these players are good in tie-breaks but Nole is "The TB King" so far :)
