Youzhny made the USO semis last year. He's a good player.

Whoa! Good stuff there! :D

And with the pig into a fifth set now against the Toad this is looking better and better

Especially considering how Pig had matchpoint in that third set tiebreak which was overuled on Sod's challenge, then the rain suspended play, the Sod won that tiebreak and won the fourth

Come on Misha! Time to whip out the roasting utensils

Well done Misha against a crafty player. Misha's match against Rafa maybe not be competitive if he is nursing a shoulder injury.

Well done, Misha! He snuck through before the next rain delay and now has time to rest while Nadal/Soderling still have to fight out a 5th set - hopefully that will go to 21-19. :D And nevertheless, Nadal has proven to be error-prone and vulnerable on this grass in these conditions, so it will be piggy-roasting time. This may be Youzhny's best chance ever for a Wimbledon SF.

Misha is injured ?
Does it show in his match against Nieminen ?

Does anyone have confirmation if Youzhny is indeed injured?

Nieminen is always someone you should watch out for. Good for Mikhail, but still sometimes he's trying to choke (ex. losing 2 breaks of lead in the 1st). Next match against Nadal will definitely draw some attention

Shoulder problems mean his serve will probably not be as effective as it normally is :(

I don't think he has a new injury, but he did have that precautionary pull-out in Halle (that seems to have paid off for him). His shoulder has always nagged him. I think he'll be ready for Rafa because he seemed to serve well today and he definitely served well in his 1st round that I saw.

Ok, now roast the pig as it's obvious Chokerling can't do it: he got broken at the start of the 5th set. What a clown!!!

At least Nadal is in a 5th set.............hopefully that will help Youzhny a bit.

Congrats Youzhny:D

Hope he stays healthy. A Berdych-Youzhny QF would be quality.

Well its good to hear at least it has no direct impact on his game particularly the serve.

Well this could be a potential roasting done in tag teams. One (or two) players soften the rough meat up and the second (third) ends up doing the honours on the BBQ

Good job Misha, especially that he was able to finish his match today and don't have to play tomorrow.
Sorry for Jarkko.

He would have to play tomorrow since the QF is scheduled for Wednesday right?

He has to play tomorrow anyway since this was a third round match. Had he not finished (weather permitting tomorrow) he would have had to finish his third round match and play his fourth on the same day. This, incidently, is the position our dear little Rafa finds himself in

Oh yes, it was my bad about the schedule.

I remember him having that same injury in Dubai. He used to make some weird movement's with his shoulder to relax them, and that didn't stop him from beating Nadal in 2 sets.

So, Nadal has to play two matches in one day? If so that sucks for him.

On grass it doesn't look that bad. Qualifier Mahut was able to defeat Ljubo and Rafa in one day, in straight but long sets

Nadal will beat Youzhny in 3 sets. Nadal will be a little tired in the first set because of his long match against Soldering but he will prevail. Nadal on to face Bjorkman who will beat Berdick.

Nadal beats Youzhny 7-6(5), 7-5, 6-1
