canas vs. hewitt on court 18 :smash: :haha: would of love to seen lleyton's reaction for that one.

At least wayne is still on a televised court, channel 9 in australia are starting their coverage till 2.30pm (london time) so i might have to hope for a little more rain delay at the start.

canas hewitt will be showed on tv anyway
but that court is very very small
both canas and hewitt deserves one better
if they were scheduled to play on central court then at least they should play on court 2
canas vs. hewitt on court 18 :smash: :haha:

Well, Wimbledon Live aren't going to be showing Court 6 and 17 after the first five days anyway. So there would have been no TV coverage anyway.

This schedule is such a joke though. :o

weather report says heavy rain for today, tomorrow and tuesday... light rain on wednesday some parts of Great Britain are flooded already! Right now it seems to be coudy but dry though...
Wimbledon is not only about playing good tennis but also about staying calm and focused with all the rain delays...

Only change to the schedule is that Gasquet v Tsonga has been moved to Centre Court which doesn't really make much of a difference.

The start of play at Wimbledon is delayed because of rain at the All-England club. The earliest start is now 11:30 UK time.

They didn't play because of Diana's concert? WTF?

She died ages ago. Who cares?

She was such a lovely princess that she died while running away from paparazzi with her lover...

Sorry for the english people and other supporters of Diana, but I never liked her. There are a lot of people that do ten times the work she did in Africa and never get recognized...

Its not about what she did for charity (she actually did alot) but it was something about her aura, beauty and style. She looked like an angel sent from someone special. People identified with that, there was just something about her which was special:) People also related to her innocence and understood her struggles with that monster of a husband charles.

Angels don't cheat! :p

I hate Charles and he is kinda evil, but Diana was no angel neither. Actually I hate monarchies, because it's just stupid to be in a position of power just because you are the son of somebody without proving that he is the right person to be in charge and without the people being able to vote and decide if they want that person to be their representatives.

Ok, back to tennis! :yeah:

Yes i understand where your comming from but this is the exact reason everyone loved diana, she didnt act like a typical royal, she wasnt a snob, she was the peoples princess, she related to all us ordinary folk.

Very interesting match! Janko Tipsarevic is the author of the main sensation of the Wimbledon 2007 till now beating Fernando Gonzalez in a wild tennis marathon 3:2 (6:3, 3:6, 6:3, 4:6, 8:6)! I think some statistical figures will be useful for this match!

Ferrero
Ferrero-Hajek 3:2 (6:7, 4:6, 6:3, 6:2, 7:5)
Ferrero-Muller 3:1 (6:4, 6:4, 6:7, 7:6)
Ferrero-Blake 3:1 (3:6, 6:3, 6:3, 7:6)
Aces: 43
Double Faults: 11
Points on 1st Serve: 213 of 283 (75%)

Tipsarevic
Tipsarevic-Peya 3:2 (4:6, 3:6, 6:3, 6:4, 6:3)
Tipsarevic-Serra 3:2 (6:3, 6:2, 6:7, 3:6, 6:2)
Tipsarevic-Gonzalez 3:2 (6:3, 3:6, 6:3, 4:6, 8:6)
Aces: 36
Double Faults: 10
Points on 1st Serve: 183 из 237 (77%)

We can see that Ferrero have scored 7 more aces than Tipsarevic but played 2 set less that Janko. I think that Tipsarevic will have moral decrease after surprise win against Gonzalez, and after 3 3:2 matches he will not be able to fight with Ferrero!

Ferrero-Tipsarevic (Ferrero win) 1.70
