I used to like this guy a year or two ago, but now Im starting to dislike him.

His demeanor when hes winning is exciting and all, but when hes trailing he drops his head so badly.

Blake is going to leave us mentally if he loses this set.

Blake is very frustrating. If he's completely focused and dialed in, then he's one of the best players on tour. But too often he goes through these ridiculous mental lapses.

This is a completely winnable match for Blake. Here's hoping he loses this third set, then we'll see what he's made of.

Blake is lucky that JCF is such a massive choker and is probably going to blow this double break lead.

Ferrero better not choke.

Yeah, it's kind of what happened against Mirnyi. As soon as Mirnyi won a second set, Blake was like "Well, I don't think so." Though he kind of faded when Mirnyi was just on the way to a second set.

you know Blake is falling apart when he starts rushing, like now.

At least Andy knows he'll get on court soon.

Juan Carlos wins the 3rd.

Watch Blake lose the fourth set 6-0 or 6-1.

I love Blake. He's just trying to keep the tournament on schedule.

This looks like the match at the AO against Gonzalez.

By the way, losing to THIS Ferrero on grass is a joke.

James is indeed an infuriating player to support and you're not alone in your frustrations with him. (http://craighickmanontennis.blogspot.com/2007/02/james-blake-its-all-over.html)

Well they'll have to... for this Wimbledon at least. Long term, no chance. :(

Blake has no right losing this match. But he'd better keep his head, which is a big ask for him.

JCF going from losing to Berlocq on grass in Holland to outplaying Blake in the third round of W.

Every player has an own story. The story of Blake is written by a lot of painful defeats. This guy has a huge talent but is a mental nonentity. But all in all he is the only player who has won set against Nadal from trailing 0:4

Is it a mental lapse or does he run out of energy after going for too many big shots in a row?

Patrick McEnroe was really laying into him on ESPN the other day. ou could tell he was really upset with Blake and his attitude.

Yes he does, like when he was down 6-2, 4-2 in Shanghai last year to Davydenko to come back and win that.

Blake has the smallest heart in the Atp.

I agree, I was a fan not long ago but after seeing him consistently drop his bundle I gave up.

Blake has the smallest heart in the Atp.

And one of the biggest egos, aided by all the slavish ass-kissing by the PC tennis journalists.

Maybe he should change the title of his new book to Breaking Down.

Certainly this title is more adequate to his on-court attitude :yeah:

I'm surprised that it took you 2 years to realize that Blake is no fighter when he's down in a match.
