well when the draw came out, Ivan could have done worse in the 3rd round, i didnt like Ferrer or Stepanek  and there was no way Roitman was making it to 3rd round of those 4

He's beaten 7 guys who pretty much play challengers :o

PHM is a step up and if Ljubo wins a set he'll have done well ;)

Lord of Grass Monfils does not play challengers. and PHM is not much of a step from the challengers, 125-120 career record and 5-6 on grass since 2006

Ljubicic should win this one pretty easily because Mathieu is a clay court specialist. Ljubicic in three sets:

6-2, 6-1, 7-5

Monfils had one of his brainfarts.

Paulo has destroyed 2 very tough opponents in Stepanek and Ferrer, and also had a good run at Nottingham.

:spit:

That scoreline would need Ljubicic to break at least 5 times :rolls:

His exit was on an indoor hard court as well

Seems like he was good enough to bitch your hero ;)

Totally outplayed Ljubicic from start to finish, a sublime display. It was a joy to watch

Well, from resumption after rain to finish is a bit more accurate, wouldn't you say adee?

Actually, I heard he played pretty well in the first set too. It's just a pity he came out of the blocks nervous and tight and got broken in the very first game. :p

:haha: no he didnt, Ivan was dominating until the rain delay, he probably would have won the 2nd set tb if it didnt rain, because at that point PHM didnt have a chance on return

Everything that you've said about this match - that Ljubo lost to a shitty player, that he lost because of one bad line call, that he lost because of the rain delay - doesn't really reflect well on your favourite player.
