good win for Nole, a bit tight here and there and failed to serve it out but seems to be in form in tie breaks . GL against Kiefer :)

Djokovic is playing not that good on grass, Hewitt will give him a lesson

these two need a beating, what with the hugging and waiting for one another to leave the court together ;)

Hewitt will rip Nole a new one in round 4, just like he did at the Us open.

Too many lapses from Nole when he gets in front but credit to Delic, his serve kept him in it.

jeahhh!

Hewitt? You mean, after he says "Thanks, man, for letting me lose the match" to Canas? :wavey:

why did they hug at the net and all that???

The only **** will be me doing your avatar:drool:

Hewitt must think about Canas first, so does Nole about Kiefer.
Don't prate before that, silly:wavey:

First, as a born Bosniak and a Serbian they speak the same language, so there's a stronger bond than the official sportsmans' "friendliness". Second, I think it's Nole's thing to congratulate warmly after a tough first match with someone.

I think he is playing pretty good but the next match is tricky . Hewitt is not even in the picture and he'll have a hard time against Canas

Oh yeah, I was talking exactly about the image:rolleyes:
Don't pretend to be that narrow-minded:retard:

You can do better than that, silly.

Could someone give me details on the ending of the match (i.e. the hug, etc.). If they ended the match with this much respect, I am extremely happy that both men recognized the history of the two home nations....and the sad past of the genocide that occurred years ago. This "peace offering" is what true international sport is about: bringing nations and people together.:)

Anyway...

Congrats Nole. :D Solid win over a good fast-court player.

they hugged and talked and than Delic was getting all his stuff ready and Novak waited for him, they walked off talking...
also Delic gave his racquet to a little girl :)

Seems to be a new thing. I am pretty sure he was not doing much huggy buggy last year -- if he did, someone can refute and tell me when/where/what court. But this is good PR to improve his image with his peers and the spectators as well, and remove his reputations which was often highlighted with details about over zealous parents and "injuries".

Read my post on page 1.

Nole likes to hug, especially after a good tough match: Canas in the Miami finals was the most blatant example.

@sawan: It has nothing to do with the war, and there was no genocide on the state level. (Not that I want to discuss that here, but you can read the verdict of the International Court of Justice.)

well since Serbia was not in the war, how can there be genocide on state level, so technically serbia had nothing to do with the war, but everyone knows they sent their paramilitary units to help with genocide.

8,000 people killed out of over a 1,000,000 cannot constitute a genocide except in seriously disturbed minds. A huge mass murder it IS, no doubt, and it IS being prosecuted, but no one can equal a mass murder and a genocide.

With that I'll conclude my contributions to the matter.

8000? try 200,000

It's not a new thing at all. He gave Verdasco a huge hug at the USO 2005. I have a picture somewhere.

200,000? Good joke. That's the number given by Bosnian government for the TOTAL death toll after the war (Bosniaks, Croatians and Serbs combined).

Check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bosnian_War for the more recent relevant data. Search for other sources yourself if you're interested.

The only spot where genocide has been taken into consideration was Srebrenica, and the death toll there is around 8,000.

I definitely do not think he did that routinely before -- is verdasco a lone example?
So what do you think prompts him to hug some and not others? He has very certainly not hugged all of the people he has played, even this year.

Nole hugs them all since he either wins or lears something new from each match. But this Ljubi tard really has some real issues besides hallucinations and I for one can't wait till Nole rips apart Ljubi for picking, and stop changing handles , it makes you diabolical :wavey:

He hugs his opponents regadless of the outcome and it's sincere but nothing personal. However in time I think he should outgrow that as it will be nothing but distraction
