Well, maybe it's better for Seb to focus on the singles - even though he enjoyed playing with Clément. And yes, ALLEZ SEB!!!!!

Grosjean needs to get this match done and dusted today if possible. Conan does not want him playing two matches tomorrow!

Conan talks a lot of nonsense as you may soon discover!

05-05-2004, 08:48 PM
I can't understand why he has such a hard time with Ferrer, what's going on with him these days!! He's so much better then this!

05-06-2004, 02:45 AM
Go Seb!! :bounce: :bounce:

Get that break back and win in straights so he can have that rest for his next match later.

05-06-2004, 10:54 AM

05-07-2004, 04:57 AM
Well I hope he'll do better before and during the French Open. Maybe he just needed an opportunity to rest and this is it.

05-07-2004, 07:28 AM
Maybe he just needed an opportunity to rest and this is it.

If he gets anymore rest this year,he'll be unconscious! ;)

I'm wondering if he's been playing too much golf  :p

Well, golf certainly qualifies as a sleeping drug! Now, what would be a useful, stimulating hobby for Seb to take up, so he'd be at his sharpest during the upcoming tournaments? ;) :p

Conan talks a lot of nonsense as you may soon discover!

I'm looking forward to it :p Hmm, I noticed that you are the lucky owner of a "spectacular aura" (those green squares under your name - everyone else seems to be on a "distinguished road"). Impressive!

05-07-2004, 11:44 AM
Does he seriously play golf?? I didn't know that!! LOL

From his official site:

Some news from Sébastien Grosjean...
Grosjean played at the TMS Rome tournament this week and after beating
Feliciano Lopez 7-5, 6-2, he was defeated by another Spaniard David Ferrer, ranked 66th in the world. The number 7th seed was beaten 6-7, 6-3, 6-2. The match was interrupted by rain with Seb leading 7-6 0-2, but Ferrer came back onto the court and took the advantage. After the match, Seb said the court was ‘not up to the standards of a TMS tournament’.

“The court was like ice, but he hit his forehand really well. I couldn’t do much about it. If I broke at 3-3 in the third set…It was a problem concerning my confidence and I wasn’t moving as well as I would have liked to. I’ve got 18 days left to play on clay. I think it will be ok. I reached the quarters at RG in 2002 and I had only played one tournament (before that)…” Seb said after the match.

The Frenchie will now start training to prepare himself for Hamburg and RG. Before the Parisian tournament, Seb will play a charity organized event on the 20th of May at the
Pyramides Tennis Club at Port Marly, where he will play with Andy Roddick. An interview from Seb to come next week.
