ZDF broadcasts in 16:9. :hearts:

But this time they better show the trophy ceremony.

ZDF broadcasts in 16:9. :hearts:
:rolls: you and your 16:9 always

I still think tennis is not a good sport for advantages of this format even IF I already had the right TV for this format.
Tennis: more action vertically
football, basketball, ... : major action in standard angle is horizontally and the field fits much more the 16:9 format (longer side is your longer side on the 16:9 screen)

But the good thing about ZDF is that they have not such a crappy low bitrate like DSF :)

And I'd say: it certainly doesn't hurt. :) Apart from the normal TV view, there are of course several other camera angles where the different aspect ratio really comes in handy. I just hope that ZDFs decision to broadcast in 16:9 doesn't affect DSFs 4:3 picture like it already happened in Duesseldorf. More than once the players were out of the screen when returning serves.

DSFs bitrate and resolution are abysmal.
