I find this site http://www.pbase.com very useful when I'm comparing camera quality {I'm in the market for a new one myself at the moment ;) }. You can do searches on here using the search option, all you do is enter the model of camera and they will show you pictures taken with that camera. You can also search for tennis pictures on there, I found quite a few when I looked, though I'm not sure if they're taken with that particular model. Hope this helps.

I have that same version but then without the digital things - i have the oldfasion negatives :)
The canon 300v, and i am very pleased with it, it is amazing, so i guess the digital is the same, but then digital... :p
(haha...the logic, eh?!)

Looking into a new digital camera, need reviews from all tennis photogs!

My preferences are 4.0+megapixels, 10x optical zoom, and around $400. I found 7 cameras that fit the profile:

Olympus Camedia C-770
Olympus Camedia C-765
Olympus Camedia C-750
Fujifilm FinePix S5100
Kodak EasyShare DX6490
Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z2
Kyocera Finecam M410R

Ahh, so many, and I'm sure there's more out there! Anybody own any of these?

Fujifilm and Kyocera have the fastest shutter speed at 1/2000 sec but they're only 57mm as opposed to 63mm. Mmm, what else is important?...

I don't have a tennis test picture, but if you didn't visit these sites already, always useful for tests and test pictures of other kinds is:

http://www.digitalkamera.de/Testbilder/ (search for the model, analytic test picture included)
http://www.computerfoto.de/kameras/kamera.php?up=4

Computer Foto is probably the most reputable magazine for digital cams. I see they tested the cam about one year ago and it got impressive ratings, looks like a very good cam!

what lens do you have dutchie?

I bought the camera with two lenses, the standard one and a zoom of 300mm.

I think you mean something else but that's all i know by heart.

My parents have the Minolta Z2 - it's a really good camera, the pictures are of a good quality and are better then many i have seen from other camera's.
he only thing i don't like from that camera is that when you press the button to make a photo it take a little time before the picture is actually taken, but i think that could be with all digital camera's.
