The photos are FABULOUS. The clothes are just gorgeous, and very expensive...wow!

That whole photoshoot - by noone less than Annie Leibowitz, BTW - is FABULOUS.

But might I remind you that it's already being discussed extensively on Fed's (sub) forum?

She's lost a bit of weight. She looks absolutely stunning.

Agreed- she's a lovely girl. Even more of a fox with dark hair IMO, but that's just a preference of mine.

MM, thanks for your contribution- all class baby, all class. :yeah:

To me Mirka looks great and she does not need photoshop for her body to be accepted. Clearly the editors of Vogue do not agree with my assessment...

:yeah:

That's about the only thing I can think of to critisize this photoshoot.
Mirka is OKAY THE WAY SHE IS.

Those of you who think not - tell me when your wedding with Giselle Bunchen is on, eh. Or Johnny Depp, for that matter.

And last but not least - it shows that Fed is not your ordinary guy who only superficially cares about 'looks', but one great guy that truly cares about a girl's merits!

It is obvious that is not a real picture. It is either photoshopped or they used a pic of her from when she was young/fit.

They did a good job; she looks like the old Mirka from a few years back.

I'm loving her hair in this pic.

Mirka looks great!

Thanks for the pictures Tangy. :yeah:

I didn't care if she was a bit overweight, but others were so obsessed with it, so maybe now people can focus on the fact that she's the best thing that happened to Fed...smart lady.

I think she looks better now than when she was thin. IMO, her head seems a bit bigger than her boday then.

And that's just one of the many things I so much admire in BOTH of my fav players - that both of them seem to acknowledge that there's more to (love) life than looks!

Even if both Mirka and Xisca appear to be LOVELY and GORGEOUS ladies to me, but, eh... I guess that's just me.

I'm not all too happy about the obvious photoshopping that's been done too.

Ah, you know - I'm so happy that Raf is dating such a lovely, non-camera-eye focussed, working-on-her-own-ambitions, intelligent and beautiful lady! (just like Fed, I might well add ).

I truly hope he keeps up staying with her as she seems to be a gorgeous woman indeed. No Safinesque-like actions here, please!

Why would we talk about a below average woman tennis player on a mens forum??

She´s not below average. She won 202 matches and lost only 159 in her career. So she´s over average.

That just refers to certain womanizer types specific to the ATP, right Karin?

You don't necessarily have an objection to those of us (*cough* me *cough*) who are, for instance, a bit allergic to committment and crave variety right? :aplot:

There is definitely heavy photoshopping in that picture. Food for thought for some men here that drool over professional photos of models and celebrities .

I agree with you though- I think it's a sign of true strength of character to commit to one good person when you are in high demand.

Vavrinec was once a professional athlet so it's not hard to believe that she could get in shape quickly if she put her mind to it. I'm sure there were touch ups but clearly she's lost weight unless they cut her head onto someone else's body.

Roger does look great in these photos.:hearts:

Mirka looks pretty too even if it is photoshopped.

As far as thier relationship though, I prefer not to make any judgments to be honest. I think when it comes to the relationships of public figures, unless you are one of the two people involved, it's hard to tell what really goes on, you know what I mean? I hope no one takes offense to my words.

I don't like Mirka from the few times I've met her, but I still don't think shes' that fat.

However, she's way bigger then in those pictures. She was a few months ago when they were taken and she is right now. Yes guys most mags take the pictures a month or two before they get into it.

And Roger's looking good.

I've met Mirka at a few tennis and non tennis things. The first time she was really sweet. Then I heard her talking about people in a different language so they obviously didn't know what she was saying. Just bitchy girl stuff, but it made me angry.

People seem to have forgotten that Mirka was quite a looker when she was still an active tennisplayer.
It's true that she's gained some weight after she retired but by no means she is as ugly and fat as some people want us to believe.

I swore I would stop buying glossies because I've got a whole collection of them at home and I can't throw them away because I love to look into them from time to time.

Purely from a copywriting perspective -- odd that they have "troubling murder that the FBI can't solve" on top and, below, in a bigger typeface to "transition" the reader's eyes to another subject, "Roger Federer". Methinks the cover copywriting could have been less, er, disconcerting?

He's not full of confidence these days if you ask me :o

But the point is that some men are more self-confident when they show up with a hot babe, and that's rather sad and pathetic imo, and I'm happy Roger's beyond that :)
