What a tournament for Melzer.
It makes me feel much better about Nando's loss to Jurgen in Madrid that he's doing so well here.

Melzer deserved with his whole career to play at least one Grand Slam quarterfinal.

The more talented player won. Gabashvili was cooked if this was decided in a few points at it was in the first and 4th set

the better player won. not the more talented...
This awesome yet lucky drive DTL in the second SP in first set just did it for Jurgen
and he kpt the level high enough to close it at the end
well done indeed and kudos to Gaba as well

Melzer overcame a big mental hurdle last round against Ferrer. No stopping him today, and he pulled off some beautiful stuff in the tight moments.
Now let's see what he can do against Djokovic.

1st set was incredible. Best set of tennis I've seen this year. Missed the rest of the match, but good on Jurgen. About time he had a good GS run.

Jurgen
He could very well make the semi too if he keeps this on

Watch Melzer go all the way to grab the title now.
He won't stop. He's a man on a mission in Paris.

Wouldn't be surprised to see this Melzer beating Djokovic.
