Mariusz Fyrstenberg retired.
Former USO finalist and part of polish-power combination(with Matkowski).
With his retirement and Nestor's announcement that he will retire next summer is this the start of the end of that generation?
Players who celebrated doubles in last decade began to retire.Still active are Paes(44 yo),Knowle(43),Zimonjic(41),Bryans(39),Lindstedt(40),Mirnyi(40),Stepanek is injured, probably will retire soon. Then Qureshi,Bopanna,Marrero,Peya,Sa.All of them were very good and now they have more than 37 years and haven't good results and ranking.

A little correction. Stepanek has recovered and is trying a comeback. I think he can compete half year with a good protected ranking in 2018 so I think he will play at least one more year

I saw him practising in his Facebook page and saying he was triying a comeback. And since he will have right for a protected ranking, I guessed he will try. But any new new information or new correction will be weel received from my part

Hi! New here. This is true but if you look at everyone 40+ now on the ATP their results have gone down. It's nothing against the other guys but if Nestor were 10 years younger he would never play with Martin, even ERV…and Paes with Raja, the only Indian he'd consider playing with was Bhupathi but that's a whole other story :wink2:

Any other news on 2018 partners? Found a thread but it was a dead link.
