Re: New teams for 2013

Lleyton Hewitt/Marinko Matosevic, the next best team. Beat Bryan in the very 2nd match. Like to continue their partnership.

Bopanna/Ram not only are very average, they have also bad luck with the draws

Yeah, Hewitt is a very good doubles player. If only he was more consisten on playing doubles, he will win a lot of tournaments

Not a good team, Bopanna-Qureshi should had been back. Anyway, Roger-Qureshi didn't do well too. But, still very early to say(?)

I would like to see this team play together too. That said, I don't think it is a good idea for Nestor to play regularly with someone who does not concentrate solely on his doubles career. This is definitely one of his last years on tour and he should have a regular doubles only player partner. I haven't heard anything about Bhupathi being injured, or of a split between them, so am assuming that the Nestor-Bhupathi team will continue for the rest of this year, till Bhupathi retires.

Bhupathi retires at the end of the year?

He said this after the pair of Nestor-Bhupathi was confirmed for 2013.

Wow, end of an era, to my dad and me Bhupathi was like a cult hero. Let's hope he can something big in his last year.

Nestor seems to be at close to the end as well

From what I know Nestor has not officially said anything about retirement. But, my guess is that he knows that Bhupathi may not play a full season, and thus it is likely that he would retire at the end of the year too(why else would he agree to play with someone who does not want a full calender?). I have never been a fan of Bhupathi, but if Nestor and him retire together, it would leave a huge void.

Re: New teams for 2013

During Davis Cup they mentioned that Nestor was thinking of retiring at the end of 2014. His wife is pregnant and they already have 1 kid so I'm sure that, plus his age, plays into his thinking.

Haven't seen Paes much on court this year. Hasn't he found any partner?
